Watch the terrifying moment a cargo van loses control on a rain-soaked Californian highway and spins across every lane of traffic narrowly missing a family car.

Marc Holden, a small business owner and USMC veteran from California, USA captured both exterior and dash footage while driving north on Highway 101 in San Jose during a recent storm.
In the clip, the van suddenly skids out from the far right lane, spinning uncontrollably across the freeway toward Marc’s vehicle.

Inside the car, Marc, his wife Dawn, and their golden retriever Poppy are travelling with the flow of traffic when Marc spots the van sliding toward them.
Staying calm and relying on police training from 25 years ago, he makes a swift evasive manoeuvre that avoids a collision. The car behind them, however, isn’t as lucky.

Marc shared the video online, where viewers praised his quick thinking during the frightening near miss.
