00:00The 5th International Conference on Integrated Natural Resources Management, or INRIM,
00:05starts today in Muntinlupa City, which will continue until November 20, 2025.
00:10Led by the UPLB Interdisciplinary Studies Center for INRIM,
00:15the conference aims to have an exchange of experiences and ideas
00:19related to resilience building, sustainable development,
00:22and the integrated management of the ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region.
00:26Along with this is the launch of the conference as the first-ever carbon-neutral international conference in the country.
00:33The event has approximately 250 participants from various state universities and colleges,
00:39government agencies, research institutions, local government units, civil society organizations, and the private sector.
00:47According to the founding director of UPLB INRIM, academician Juan Paulin,
00:52the said conference will serve as a model for nature-based solution initiatives
00:56to promote ecosystem-based resilience and sustainable development.
