00:00I want to ask like as AI is planning a student program, how ministry is planning to scale up such initiatives to have skilled work for force for India?
00:16So in the ministry we have started one career guidance program where we are going to the schools, reaching out to the children and explaining to them how this growth in aviation that India is experiencing is creating lot of job opportunities for the children.
00:30And aviation is a very passionate subject. People have to be involved from the childhood itself and we have seen that this is a very aspirational subject, aviation.
00:40The children who see the aircraft in the sky, have a lot of hope. So we have to connect that passion with our career.
00:47So that's why we have done a career guidance program. But we have seen that we have to expand it in a bigger way.
00:54So we have taken one opportunity at the IITF trade fair and then we have organized this nice stall here where we are going to bring in children.
01:03We are bringing in youth. We are bringing in college students and telling them what airports are about, what aviation is about, what kind of different careers are there here.
01:11So it has been a great experience for us also. I have just inaugurated the stall here.
01:16They have designed it, Airports Authority of India and Chairman Vipinji and their team have designed it very, very well.
01:22We are getting good response from the people who have already visited here.
01:26Our intention is only one thing, to grow the passion in the youth of this country so that they can associate with aviation in the future.
01:35Sir, India is set to become largest hub in the aviation sector in the world. What ministry is planning for the aviation infrastructure and also for the passengers?
01:47Already we have 164 airports and counting. We want to build 200 more airports by Viksit Bharat 2047. So in the coming 20 to 25 years, we have more airports coming in.
01:57And on top of that, other services, like not just the airports, but other services within aviation. If you talk about manufacturing ecosystem, we want to manufacture, design and maintain our own aircraft in the country.
02:10So that is still in the very nascent stages. We want to do that. So there needs to be a lot of ecosystem that needs to be developed around that.
02:18And for aircraft operations, we need navigation systems, which are very, very good. Technology is changing every day.
02:25And this is a highly tech dependent sector. So as the technology changes, you need more changes to come into the field.
02:31You need to design your systems better. So continuously this sector is growing.
02:36So as it is growing, it is important for us to do the right policy making and bring in the right people also.
02:42So in the next five years or 10 years, our plan is very, very ready. And the plan, the basics is to become Atma Nirvar Bharat in aviation also.
02:51Not being dependent on other parts of the world, but develop all the ecosystems in the country.
02:57And for this, our honorable prime minister has been an inspiration. His message of Atma Nirvar Bharat, Make in India, Viksit Bharat, all these continuously inspire us to make aviation, like you said, the number one ecosystem in the whole world.
03:12We want to become the global hub for aviation.
