Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Moscow on November 17 to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation.

The two officials highlighted growing collaboration across trade, transport, education, science, culture, and cybersecurity. The meeting follows the implementation of the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Iran and Russia and emphasizes the importance of partnerships within international structures such as BRICS, SCO, and the Eurasian Economic Union.

Aref expressed gratitude for Russia’s support in international matters and stressed the untapped potential for further economic and strategic cooperation between the two nations.
