Ford is relocating its headquarters for the first time in 70 years, moving to a new 2.1-million-square-foot campus in Dearborn designed to showcase products and attract software and AI talent. The futuristic facility will house over 14,000 employees and replace the historic Glass House by 2027.

00:06moving three miles to a new 2.1-million square foot building in Dearborn,
00:11according to the Associated Press.
00:13The new Ford World headquarters features a 160,000-square-foot food hall,
00:18design studios, fabrication shops, and a central showroom described as a James Bond villain's
00:24lair. Executives will use the space to review new products and make go-to-market decisions.
00:28Ford said the move, scheduled for completion in 2027, will accommodate more than 14,000 employees
00:35and create more collaborative workspaces than its 1956 glasshouse building.
00:40Company leaders said the project is designed to present Ford as a modern,
00:44forward-looking automaker able to attract software and AI talent.
