00:02Strategy reported second quarter revenue that fell short of analyst expectations, according to Benzinga.
00:08Second quarter revenue came in at $122.39 million after Thursday's closing bell,
00:15missing the analyst estimate of $122.91 million.
00:20The company said it held $843,775 Bitcoin as of July 26,
00:25making it the largest institutional holder in the world.
00:28Year-to-date, Strategy reported a BTC yield of 4.5%,
00:32a BTC gain of $29,997,
00:35and a BTC AU gain of $195 billion based on Bitcoin's July 27th market price of $64,915.
00:42The company said its Bitcoin holdings had an original cost basis of $63.69 billion
00:47and a market value of $54.77 billion.
00:51The company also raised about $8.41 billion during the second quarter
00:55and another $1.28 billion through July 26th.
01:00Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said the company is focused on establishing digital credit as a new asset class
01:05and returning its STRC preferred shares to stable demand, high liquidity, and low volatility.
