00:00Closing today with Brendan Fraser as he appears almost unrecognizable in the first photos from his new movie, The Whale.

00:06The upcoming Darren Aronofsky movie will be Brendan's first starring film role since 2013

00:11and will premiere at the 79th Venice Film Festival.

00:15The production company, A24, tweeted out photos from the film

00:18and one features Fraser's character as a 600-pound English teacher with a very heavyset face.

00:24I can't tell if he's wearing some prosthetics or he actually gained weight for the role,

00:27but before the first pick was released, Brendan spoke about the acting role

00:31and told Unilad that it's going to be like something you've never seen before.

00:35The wardrobe and costume was extensive, seamless, and cumbersome.

00:39This is certainly far removed from anything I've ever done, but not to be coy,

00:43I do know it's going to make a lasting impression.

00:45Now I really have to see this movie.
