00:31were served to the football players.
00:33The White House explained that the unusual menu
00:35for the evening was due to the partial government shutdown.
00:38Much of the White House residential staff
00:40has been furloughed, so the president personally paid
00:42for the fast food served.
00:43On late night, host Seth Meyers joked that the athletes
00:46were mostly excited to visit the famous house
00:48because of one of its former residents.
00:50And the players couldn't wait to get back home
00:53and tell their families they got to go into the house

00:57The host later dug into the topic

01:18But he took it a step further by adding this.
01:20We're gonna watch their favorite movie,
01:22the 2016 election results, then I will spank them all
01:27with a rolled up Forbes.
01:29Meanwhile on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host suggested
01:31that Trump chose to serve fast food to the team
01:33because it was the cheapest option
01:35and he was the one paying for it.
01:36And you know he's taking whatever they don't eat back
01:38to his bedroom.
01:39Tonight he'll be like the rat in Charlotte's Web tonight,
01:42rolling around in quarter pounders with cheese.
