00:00You know, the biggest question that comes to mind when it comes about what really happened with the protest in Bangladesh, how Sheikh Hasina had to flee the country,
00:11इतना सब कुछ होने के बाद एक नया प्राम मिनिस्टर आता है, and the first thing that comes to everybody's mind,
00:19that who is he backed by? Is he being backed by China? Is he being backed by USA? Or is he being backed by India?
00:29Of course not by India because now we have Sheikh Hasina in India and India trying to protect her.
00:34So whose hand do you see in this recent, you know, diplomatic tension and the tension that we have in Bangladesh?
00:42Who is he backed by, the recent, the current Prime Minister of Bangladesh?
00:47Okay, so he's, Bangladesh doesn't have a Prime Minister.
00:53There's an incumbency which is led by an interim incumbency, an unelected incumbency.
00:59They are backed by several due to their own interest and all.
01:04It's China is there, the US is there, the Pakistanis is a big player in this game.
01:08So, when you say the protecting India, protecting Prime Minister Hasina,
01:15so, you know, India has a history of protecting the state leaders.
01:19It happened during the time of Maldives cases, the Marum Abdul Gayum,
01:23all he had is a telephone in his bedroom.
01:26So he rang up Indian High Commission and then India rescued him.
01:30So, in Sheikh Hasina's case is different.
01:33India is not protecting, in a sense, a political leader,
01:36but a Prime Minister who is doing her incumbency requested for a transit visit.
01:43So there's a technicality to it.
01:45And this technicalities and the nuances are, you know,
01:48the playing ground for judicial appeals and moves.
01:52So what happens, when Sheikh Hasina appealed India for this short transit visit,
01:59India allowed it, because this is a very eventual,
02:03and all of a sudden India got this request, India had to accept that.
02:07And if India doesn't, you know, to maintain the state leaders' trust,
02:14India has to do it.
02:15I mean, I gave you the examples of Maldives.
02:17But India is stuck now.
02:18India is stuck in taking a choice.
02:21Will India decide to send her out of the country?
02:25Imagine Pakistanis or other forces, ISI, trying to assassinate her.
02:32This could be other possibility.
02:33And this can be a big blot on India,
02:37if she dies in India or if she is being attempted to be killed in India.
02:43Your friend is absolutely right, you know,
02:46because Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's case is altogether a different thing.
02:51of, I mean, than any other persons, like author Taslima Nasrin.
02:57What happened in Taslima Nasrin's case, you can see, I mean, she's, her party was,
03:01the alleged her, and then there are a lot of things.
03:03And despite all of this, India gave permission to stay all the time.
03:10She has to renew it.
03:11But when it comes to Prime Minister Hashina, the case is,
03:15unless India gets a guarantee from another state that, who is issuing the political asylum
03:21or kind of security for a judicial purpose, India, sorry, India can't get away with this.
03:31Neither can India allow her due to the security concern and all.
03:36But as long as the judicial stops are there, the judicial complicacies are there,
03:42Bangladesh government and the incumbent, as well as the diplomatic ground, diplomatic corps,
03:49will have to find a merit to the case, which is accepted by India.
03:53So, so far, India has gotten appeals and the letters from Bangladesh,
03:58which doesn't have a proper ground.
