Outgoing New York City Mayor Eric Adams visited Jerusalem on November 16, stopping at the Western Wall and touring the underground tunnels where archaeological digs are ongoing.

During his visit, Adams placed a prayer note in the Wall and expressed his continued advocacy for Israel and the Jewish people worldwide, despite leaving office.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog thanked Adams for his support during the war and praised his leadership during his time as NYC mayor. Adams’s visit comes after he abandoned his reelection campaign earlier this year amid declining approval ratings.
