00:00The first one is dealing with the red tape that you all have to struggle with.
00:05Farmers are drowning in bureaucracy.
00:07If it's not one thing, it is another.
00:09It's this quango, it's that quango, it's Natural England, it's the Environment Agency,
00:14sometimes it's highways, it's the compulsory purchase orders that they're taking the land off,
00:18it's the pylons that are crossing the farms, it's just never-ending.
00:22We need to relieve the burdens on farmers.
00:24So the vision that we have, and those of you who are at the roundtable heard me say it,
00:28is creating that long-term certainty, having a vision of a flourishing farming sector.
