00:00What do you think it says about your party and your leadership that when the
00:04Labour government is so historically unpopular your party is still going
00:08backwards you're still losing seats across the country? What it says is that
00:12we are in an era of multi-party politics there are no heartlands or any safe
00:16seats for any party we have got to get out there and do the work and given that
00:21just two years ago people were writing us off saying that we were completely
00:25finished and now we are winning Westminster look where I'm standing
00:30we have just won a flagship council we've just taken over in Wandsworth Bexley where we were told
00:37that reform we're going to wipe us out we have held on I'm very proud of how we
00:42have done I'm not saying that we're there yet I'm not saying that the results are
00:46perfect there are loads of councillors conservative councillors who would have
00:48lost their seats but they can see that our strategy is working good strategy takes
00:54time it doesn't all happen overnight those people who want everything to
00:57change overnight are people who don't know how to do the work who don't know
01:01how to build the Conservative Party is the only serious alternative to Labour
01:05right now reform and the Greens and the Lib Dems can run around saying all sorts
01:10of things they don't do any work they will not deliver only one party will
01:14deliver for this country and that's the Conservative Party
