00:05Recall Wendy has been absent from her daytime talk show since July 2021 due to ongoing health issues.

00:11Now, according to court documents obtained by Hollywood Life, Wendy's bank, Wells Fargo,

00:16sent a letter to the New York Supreme Court asking for a hearing to determine whether Wendy needs a professional

00:22to intervene in her affairs after freezing her bank account.

00:25This comes after Ms. Williams' attorney filed an emergency petition in the New York Supreme Court

00:30claiming that Wells Fargo denied Wendy access to her financial accounts for more than two weeks

00:35after her longtime financial advisor, Lori Schiller, said that Wendy was of unsound mind.

00:41Wendy's lawyer also said that she had fired Schiller as her advisor due to alleged malfeasance involving her accounts

00:48as well as improper conduct in relation to their professional relationship.

00:52Her lawyer also has requested a temporary restraining order against Wells Fargo

00:58to restrain the bank from freezing Wendy's accounts.
