00:00Find out why Kanye West says that he wants to end his feud with Drake, plus Stevie J and Faith Evans split.
00:13Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life with your Hip Hop Roundup.
00:16Now, calling it quits only means that you tried, and trying is the most important thing.
00:20According to online records obtained by TMZ, unfortunately record producer Stevie J has filed for divorce from his wife Faith Evans.
00:28The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2018, when they surprised their friends and family with an intimate ceremony that was initiated in their hotel room.
00:36After three years of marriage, the pair have decided to go their separate ways.
00:40And switching gears to the tragic news regarding the Astroworld Festival, where reported that 300 people were hurt and 8 lost their lives, while Travis Scott and Drake were on stage.
00:51Drake spoke out for the first time, saying his heart is broken for those who lost loved ones on the day of the now-canceled festival in Houston, Texas.
01:00He took to Instagram to express his devastation, writing,
01:03I've spent the past few days trying to wrap my mind around this devastating tragedy.
01:09I hate resorting to this platform to express an emotion as delicate as grief, but this is where I find myself.
01:15My heart is broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives, and for anyone who is suffering.
01:22The rapper concluded that he will continue to pray for all and will be of service in any way he can be, writing,
01:29May God be with you all.
01:31Continuing with Drake, because it looks like the decade-long feud between him and Kanye West is ready to finally come to an end.
01:38Over the years, Ye and Drizzy have taken their fair share of shots at each other, but it looks like there might be a light at the end of this tunnel.
01:46Music executive Jay Prince shared a video with Kanye on Twitter, which featured the rapper asking Drake to come together and join him on stage for a benefit concert to free Larry Huber.
01:58Recall Larry is a convicted co-founder of a Chicago street gang called Gangster Disciples who is currently serving six life sentences.
02:07Yeezy asked Drake to join him on December 7th on stage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year.
02:14He also said,
02:15I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together.
02:25I really hope these two can finally put down their swords and pick up the mics because I would love to see them on stage together.
02:32But alright, hit that sub like and bell button.
