00:10The pure chaos of the divorce between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West cannot be overstated.

00:16These two have been back and forth for what feels like years over this extended breakup,

00:22and honestly, it doesn't look like it's gonna end anytime soon.

00:26The glue that holds this chaos together and keeps Kim and Kanye from making any kind of clean break

00:33are their four awesome kids.

00:36It has been very clear since the beginning of this drama that the number one priority for both of these

00:41billionaire parents is the safety and happiness of their children.

00:45North, Saint, Chicago, and Song.

00:48How they both go about it, well that's where things get sticky.

00:52I'm Eric Myrick and in this video, I'm gonna go over Kanye's reaction to being on the outside of the

00:58Kardashian family and his reaction to Pete Davidson being on his way in.

01:06Kim took some time after her public divorce from Kanye West to start seeing new people,

01:11but we all knew it was coming eventually.

01:13Kim and Kanye had up to that point been sparring amongst themselves about the future of their

01:18co-parenting relationship. That is, until the hottest couple on the market made their massive debut.

01:24Pete Davidson was a wild card for everyone, and we can safely say that includes Kanye West.

01:30Kanye did not have very many nice things to say about Pete at the start of the relationship,

01:36especially after some months went by and Kim began introducing Pete to the kids.

01:42In a public back and forth, Kanye said that Pete would never meet Kanye's children.

01:47Even when Pete made it a point to reach out with kindness.

01:50As time passed, Pete's relationship with the kids only evolved.

01:54He's gotten more and more close with the family, being invited to the big dinners and holidays.

02:01Pete has even been seen out in public alone with Saint and with North on separate occasions.

02:08These seem like more than just babysitting favors to me, fam.

02:12But that kind of thing happens when mommy describes you as

02:15literally the best human being I've ever met.

02:17This is all strengthened by the fact that Pete has done everything he could to reach out to Kanye

02:22and smooth things over and express that he has nothing but the utmost respect for him as a father.

02:28Not that that did a ton.

02:29All Pete got in return was his text messages blasted to the public and a bad nickname.

02:35Even Kim noted that she only wants to introduce her kids to Pete in a way that doesn't turn the kids

02:40against their father and that respects dad as much as possible.

02:44According to a source speaking with Hollywood Life,

02:47Kanye was totally unprepared for this level of involvement from Pete Davidson with his kids.

02:53I don't think Kanye, like the rest of us, saw this relationship coming at all,

02:56let alone lasting for as long as it's lasted and gotten as serious as it's got.

03:01The source went on to say that Kanye knows the bond with his kids are unbreakable, which again,

03:06very true.

03:07We've seen so much evidence from these kids entire lives that their relationship

03:10with their dad is incredibly strong.

03:13Kanye, for all it's worth, has been an incredible dad.

03:16And even though the relationship between Ye and Kim didn't work out,

03:20he's still clearly committed to keeping his world's number one dad mug intact.

03:25And again, Kim seems very passionate about making sure that happens as well.

03:29I will always try my hardest to keep the co-parenting relationship positive

03:36and I know my kids just want to see me happy, their dad happy, everyone happy.

03:40We got some good parenting in this house.

03:42Good parents alert.

03:43Can I get a whoop whoop?

03:46That is not what I asked you to say.

03:48Although he's doing his very best to cope,

03:50it's understandable that this is a really hard time for Ye.

03:54That same source from Hollywood Life says Kanye is quote,

03:58having trouble accepting the fact that he can't fix this and get his family back together,

04:03which makes sense from the evidence we have.

04:05Aside from the occasional entire girlfriend here and there,

04:08he's clearly been trying to win Kim back.

04:11Some of his attempts have been kind of weird, honestly, though,

04:13like him buying an entire house across the street from Kim's house.

04:17Little things like that are very much giving Law & Order SVU,

04:21but hey, maybe she's into it.

04:23She ain't.

04:24Ye's collaborator and friend Vori revealed that Kanye is

04:28actually taking a year off from music and public appearances.

04:32Vori also alluded that Kanye is kind of going through it right now,

04:36stating to Complex that quote,

04:38he's battling his own .

04:40Listen, I hope some of the stuff Kanye is battling with will help him come to terms

04:45with the direction things are going with Kim and Pete,

04:48because it really doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon.
