NCAA: Arellano survives perps  Arellano University held tightly on its one-point lead in the dying seconds of the clock to survive the top team University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, 70-69, keeping its twice-to-beat quarterfinals incentive alive in the NCAA Season 101 men’s basketball tournament on Sunday afternoon at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.   With this win Arellano improved to a 5-6 win-loss card, while the quarterfinals bound Perpetual tallied its third loss (8-3).   The Arellano Chiefs spoiled the potential historic day for the Perpetual Altas by preventing them from finishing as the NCAA's top team, a position they haven't held since 2004.
