The ULTIMATE Season 4 Warm-Up & Training Routines To Go PRO! - Fortnite Tips & Tricks
Transcript
00:00In a mechanically intense game like Fortnite, the way you choose to warm up each session has
00:04a huge impact on not only how well you play that day, but your long-term progression as well.
00:09In today's video, we're going to be walking you through the newest pro warm-up routine for
00:13Season 4. Let's get right into it. Do you want to get your aim like that? Well,
00:27we've got you covered. When you first hop on the game, you want to make sure that your aim is
00:31warmed up. Warming up your aim will make your other mechanics like building and editing a whole lot
00:35easier. Since aiming is basically just crosshair control, having your precise will make building
00:39placements and edit plays a breeze. Although third-party aim training programs like aim lab
00:44are definitely helpful, we're going to focus on a creative map that all the pros have been using.
00:48Panfield's headshot only map functions just like it sounds. You'll be queued into a server with 15
00:54other players only having a shotgun to fight with. To encourage accuracy, you'll only be able to
00:58eliminate your opponent with a max damage headshot. Practicing aim strictly for the head will give you
01:03more control over your microflicks. Not only is this great for aiming, but your edit selection will
01:08flow better as well. Since each fight in this map is practically a never-ending third party,
01:12you'll be playing at an extremely rapid pace. This will get you ready for those high-intensity
01:16situations you find yourself in actual games. Spending just 10 or 15 minutes in this map every day will
01:21improve your crosshair control and headshot accuracy by a mile. After getting warmed up with
01:27a few rounds of the headshot only free-for-all, go ahead and start free building. This may sound
01:32pointless, but free building is honestly one of the best ways to improve your building and editing.
01:36Try to incorporate as many edits into your builds as possible in order to get your fingers loose and
01:41your edit timing down. During this time, you should be practicing any new moves you've been wanting
01:45to get down, as well as your core fighting mechanics. Simple things like wall replacing boxes and
01:50setting up piece control traps will get you ready for some actual fights. Everybody will need a
01:54different amount of time to feel warmed up, but anywhere in the 15 to 20 minute range for free
01:59builds should be more than enough to at least be comfortable. However, don't think that warming up
02:03is the only time you should be free building. Any downtime you have on the game is a great opportunity to
02:08get some extra practice in and keep yourself warm. If you want to dominate Season 4, make sure you head
02:13over to ProGuides.com, where we've got an army of pro coaches ready and waiting to teach you
02:18everything you need to know about Fortnite so you can improve fast.
02:23After you finish your free building, go ahead and hop into some 1v1 build fights. Build fights are super
02:28popular amongst the pro community as they offer somewhat realistic fighting practice, all while
02:32having the freedom to play however you want. If you're on a fairly solid computer, you should have
02:37little to no delay along with low ping. This is your chance to show your fighting skills off with nothing
02:42holding you back. When you're playing these, you don't want to camp up and force a box fight. There's
02:47absolutely nothing on the line here. Don't be afraid to be flashy and try out some edit course
02:51piece control plays. Your whole goal here is to improve your reaction time and recognize the
02:56different potential plays available to be made. If you don't have a friend to consistently play
03:00against, queue yourself with a random player in the Panville 1v1 fill map. This map allows you to
03:04fight against a variety of different play styles on nearly zero input delay. We'd recommend 1v1ing for
03:10at least 20 minutes, but don't be afraid to spend some additional time here for some extra practice.
03:15Alright Fortnite fam, it's time for the question of the day. What is your favorite skin that the new
03:20Fortnite Mares has brought us? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
03:25At this point in the routine, you may feel like you're ready to dive right into arena or scrims.
03:30While you probably are, some dedicated training for your overall mechanics is going to help you a ton
03:35in the long run. Raider464's mechanic training map V3 has everything you can ask for. First up, we have
03:41the edit crosshair training. Here you can select which edits you want to practice and head right in.
03:46You'll be moved up and down, left and right, away from the wall. This is great practice for edit
03:51selection from odd angles and will make in-game edits a piece of cake. Think of this like aim
03:55training your edits. Next up, we have piece control tunnels. Unlike normal piece control maps,
04:00these tunnels have low health builds placed all around you. This will help you get the hang of edit
04:05coursing players in situations where the builds are a bit crowded. Practice replacing the builds using not
04:10only your pickaxe, but your SMG and shotgun as well. Using weapons to replace builds saves a solid
04:15amount of time and will keep your momentum at a fast moving pace. After a few rounds of this,
04:19head into the piece control and peak training drill. Here you will find a variety of realistic
04:23scenarios with an AI bot. Your goal is to piece control your way towards them and take a calculated
04:28peak shot. If you expose yourself for too long, you'll take damage. If you're playing correctly,
04:33you should be able to go through every scenario and maintain a full health bar. Last, but certainly not least,
04:38we want you guys to hop into an AI bot free build section. Here you will be spawned into an arena
04:43with multiple AI bots scattered all around. This drill runs exactly like it sounds. Free build all
04:49over the place and piece control the bots. The bots spawn in with sub 200 HP, meaning you can one-shot
04:54them to the head. There's no rules you need to follow here. Get creative and create all sorts of
04:58plays you wouldn't normally make in a real match.
05:00Well, that wraps things up for today, Fortnite fam. Did you enjoy the video? Be sure to leave a like

05:12offer. Also, feel free to leave a comment and let us know if there is anything you would be interested
05:17in learning more about. Remember guys, your warm-up routine acts like the foundation of your
05:21mechanics. Try out the drills we showed you in today's video and you'll be well on your way to
05:25improvement. Once again, my name is Galvanize and I'll see you in our next video here at ProGuides.
