A girl who lost her "Papa Bear" teddy she used to remember grandfather cried tears of happiness when she received an exact replacement "from heaven" after her mom’s years-long search for a replica. Abrielle, aged seven, from Richmond, Virginia, loved her late Papa, Danny Jo, dearly with the pair spending large amounts of time together when she was younger. Her dad was often away from home serving in the U.S. Marines, so Abrielle and her mom, Lori, moved in with Danny Jo after he lost his wife, arranging activities to boost his spirits. Abrielle would surprise Danny Jo with fun gifts, cook dinner with him, and they loved to sing and dance together. But after he suddenly became very sick and passed away in May 2020, Abrielle was left inconsolable. A friend of Lori's sent the family flowers, attached to which was a sweet bear, which Abrielle kept and called Papa Bear. Papa Bear went everywhere with her, and Lori revealed her daughter used it to remember her grandfather and seek comfort when she missed him. But one day, after a sleepover, Abrielle lost Papa Bear, who had been by her side for over two years.
