Palace dismisses as 'pure hearsay' Co's claim vs Marcos

Malacañang dismisses as 'pure hearsay' former Ako Bicol Party-list representative Zaldy Co's allegation that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. had ordered a P100 billion insertion in the 2025 budget. Presidential Communications Acting Secretary Dave Gomez said that Co's 'wild accusations are completely without basis and fact.' Co, who is currently in hiding after being linked to the flood control fund scam, revealed Marcos' link to the controversy in a video posted by his office on social media on Nov. 14, 2025.
