Bosko and Bruno is a 1932 Looney Tunes short directed by Hugh Harman, released on April 30, 1932. It stars Bosko, the series' first protagonist, and his pet dog Bruno. The cartoon follows the duo as hobos walking along railroad tracks, narrowly escaping an oncoming train by using a handcar. Bruno tricks Bosko by faking his death when his foot gets stuck on the tracks, hiding under a trapdoor as the train passes.
