Bosko the Drawback is a Looney Tunes short released on October 22, 1932, directed by Hugh Harman. It is the 25th short in the series.
Bosko stars as the star player in a wacky football game. The cartoon opens with a marching band and fans rushing into a stadium, some even running through a donkey acting as a turnstile. Bosko prepares with a rough massage and quickly dresses when called to the field.
He kicks off, catches the ball, and is protected by a dog teammate, but the ball is eventually stolen. The game features chaotic, surreal gags typical of early Looney Tunes, including exaggerated pileups and slapstick action.
