Leeds Rhinos have bolstered their squad with the signing of 21-year-old forward Jeremiah Mata’utia from NRL side North Queensland Cowboys.

Standing six feet five inches, Mata’utia joins on a 12-month contract with an option for a further year in the club’s favour. Born in Otahuhu, New Zealand, he developed as a junior in Australia at Townsville’s Kirwan State High School before making three appearances for the local Blackhawks in 2023.
