00:00The longest government shutdown in the history of the United States is finally over.
00:03The House has passed the bill sent to them by the Senate.
00:06The bill is passed.
00:09The motion is adopted.
00:11It'll be a few days before everything gets back to normal,
00:13but back pay will soon be sent to the air traffic controllers.
00:17They can get back to work, stop driving for Uber Eats to make ends meet,
00:21and staff that was furloughed, well, they'll get to come back to the office
00:24and we can all go back to going about our business for two months at least.
00:28While some key issues like SNAP will be funded for a full year,
00:32a lot of the government is only funded through the end of January,
00:35which means we could be right back where we were once we get through the holidays.
