00:00well we had some bad luck with that last week some duds and then you look at this one on thursday

00:05night it's got to be better right we're going to get a big upset or something like that maybe

00:08here i don't know patriots big favorites this week they're playing the best football

00:12i mean really of any team in the afc right now 12 and a half point favorites over the new york

00:17jets total of 43 and a half we know the jets are playing for the future here the only thing i can

00:23think of mike maybe this is sort of like a trap spot for tampa bay coming off that big win or for

00:28the patriots coming off that big win against tampa bay but uh you know jets did win last week some

00:35special teams touchdowns led the way there maybe if they can get three special teams touchdowns in

00:38this game they could win again great point the jets have put up a a couple of nice scoring performances

00:46i'm not sure i'd say offensive performances they were a little bit bulky uh on offense this sunday

00:52this past sunday but some of that when you put up that many special teams touchdowns there's not as

00:57much opportunity for the offense to do its thing but over the last two weeks they've scored more

01:01than 27 points the problem is that doesn't usually trend into a thursday night game those thursday

01:07night games are rarely shootouts and that's what the jets would need in order to be successful in this

01:13game relative to the number uh if you believe in the pats uh good good for you but again the thursday

01:20nights even even for a team as proficient as the patriots have been is problematic i'd i'd more shy

01:28away if it was sunday i would say that i would be fairly comfortable in the pats uh being successful

01:34at that level in this game but i don't have much doubt that they're going to find a way to win it
