00:00Here in Belen, on the edge of the Amazon, COP30 is taking place, and the world is once
00:07again talking about the climate crisis.
00:10But this time, Africa's youth are making sure their voices are heard.
00:15They've traveled to the heart of global climate negotiations with one powerful message, no
00:21more empty promises.
00:22I believe that this COP is going to be one of the wins for the global south, basically
00:29because of when you hear the co-presidentity, the president of Brazil, and I mean, it's
00:35something promising.
00:36But again, we've had promising speeches before, but I'm just hopeful because at the end of
00:40the day, the crisis continues getting worse.
00:43Soina knows the cost of inaction in Kenya, deforestation drives drought and hunger.
00:48That's why she's demanding transparency, accountability, and action.
