The United Nations climate change conference COP30 is taking place in the Amazonian city of Belém do Pará, with high-level representatives from almost 200 countries in attendance. In this scenario, debates focus on how to address the climate crisis before catastrophic levels of global warming become inevitable. 00:44In the framework of COP30 in Brazil, some of the delegates have stated their opinions on

00:49the events and the priorities for their countries.

00:52Let's see some of the testimonies.

00:54COP30 is going well actually, it has started well quite, and the priorities, it is including

01:02of enhancing just transition, strengthening the implementation of climate finance and adaptation

01:12efforts.

01:13So there is a target is for the conservation of biodiversity, oceans and the forest.

01:23It's the conference of parties.

01:25So the whole world is here.

01:28And then we are all advocating for the global climate action to address the crisis that climate

01:35change is exacerbating in our countries.

01:38As an African country, we are a very vulnerable country.

01:42So climate change is impacted or left an impact, which is very, very severe, causing to the country,

01:53drought, recurrent droughts and floods all the time.

01:59And there's also cyclones in our country, Somalia.

02:03So it is a very important meeting to the whole world.

02:09Those are parties in UNFCCC.

02:12So we are here to be part of the global climate action, implementation of NDCs, doing the full

02:22effort of addressing climate change with the other countries.
