00:00Our honorary guest judge for the night, Mr. Tom Bergeron.
00:05Hi, sweetheart. I am thrilled to be here tonight.
00:09The ballroom was star-studded Tuesday night as Dancing with the Stars celebrated its 20th birthday party.
00:16The festivities began with a stunning opening number choreographed by none other than Derek Hough,
00:22featuring the show's current pros and troupe members dancing alongside six original dancers from season one.
00:31And the Milestone Bash, of course, could not be complete without the long-awaited return of former co-host Tom Bergeron,
00:40who brought the energy and plenty of jokes all throughout the night while serving as a guest judge.
00:47In addition to all of the familiar faces fans got to see in the ballroom,
00:51the night was filled with plenty of must-see performances.
00:55Here are the top five moments from Tuesday's 20th birthday party show.
01:00Coming in at number five, Alex Earle and Val Shmorkovsky's Singing in the Rain performance
01:06inspired by Niamh Shulman and Jenna Johnson's season 29 freestyle.
01:12The classy old Hollywood routine earned the dance duo a perfect score,
01:18with Derek Hough calling it a flawless boxtrot,
01:22and Bruno Tonioli joking that it sent them to ballroom heaven.
01:27Alex has been such an amazing contender,
01:29with many calling her a frontrunner from the first episode.
01:34And this performance was a clear example of why she deserves to stay in the competition
01:40and hopefully make it to the finale.
01:42At number four, Dylan Efron and Daniela Karagash's epic Argentine tango to Ain't No Sunshine.
01:50Oh my goodness.
01:51Dylan said in his pre-taped interview package that he felt a breakthrough coming,
01:56and that's exactly what happened Tuesday night, as you can see.
02:00All four of the judges gave the routine a perfect 10,
02:03with the best comment coming from Tom Bergeron.
02:07He told the Traders alum,
02:08I know your brother, Zac Efron, is the actor, but you're the leading man.
02:13Could not be any more true.
02:16Next at number three,
02:18Whitney Levitt and Mark Ballas' Argentine tango to cell block tango.
02:23The Secret Lives of Mormon Wife star continues to impress us week to week,
02:27but this perfect scoring routine really had it all,
02:31as Derek Hough so perfectly put it.
02:34There was sharp technique, precise movement, and true passion,
02:38not to mention an epic Mormon call-out from the lyrics featured in Chicago the Musical.
02:46He had six wives.
02:48One of those Mormons, you know.
02:50Some guys just can't hold their arsenic.
02:54Whitney, this was so amazing.
02:57This is for sure a must-see moment,
03:00and a performance that will likely go down in Dancing with the Stars history.
03:04At number two,
03:05Robert Irwin and Whitney Carson's surprise video message from Prince William.
03:11Yes, the Prince William.
03:14Whilst your twinkle toes are going off elsewhere, I need you down here.
03:17Robert explained in his pre-taped interview package
03:20that he was supposed to be in Brazil with the Royal for the Earthshot Prize,
03:24but unfortunately had to back out due to his commitment to Dancing with the Stars.
03:30The Prince of Wales, however,
03:32hopped on a Zoom call to wish Robert and Whitney luck as they rehearsed for this week's show.
03:37Clearly, they delivered on William's wish,
03:40as they received a perfect score for their Foxtrot to Footprints in the Sand.
03:45The routine was inspired by a freestyle Robert's sister, Bindi Irwin,
03:51performed with Derek Hough ahead of their Season 21 Mirabal win.
03:55At the end of the performance, Bindi even made a surprise appearance in the ballroom,
04:00dancing with Robert as an incredible video played featuring their late dad, Steve Irwin.
04:07Taking the number one spot, we have to give it up to Andy Richter,
04:12who had the whole ballroom laughing during the relay round.
04:17Taking the dance floor with former Mirabal champion Caitlin Bristow,
04:21he ripped off his shirt at one point to reveal a hilarious tee emblazoned with fake abs.
04:28The creative move was, of course, an attempt to win over the judges
04:31as he competed against heartthrob Dylan Efron and his guest relay partner, Rumor Willis.
04:38Sadly, however, at the end of Tuesday night's show, Andy,
04:42who many have dubbed the People's Champion of Season 34,
04:46was eliminated with his pro partner, Emma Slater.
04:49He told viewers in the final moments of the show
04:52that doing Dancing with Stars has changed his life,
04:55and despite having to go home, he still feels like a winner.
04:58Andy, speaking on behalf of all of the fans,
05:02thank you so much for bringing so much fun to Dancing with the Stars this season,
05:06and please, please, please stay on TikTok.
