00:00Eli, you've been around the Giants for a long time now.
00:02What do you think the ingredients are for a good Giants head coach?
00:06Yeah, tough to say.
00:08And they'll have to figure that out.
00:12And I think it's coming to New York and being a first-time coach takes time.
00:17So I think the guys that have been head coaches before,
00:21dealt with the media before, dealt with the ups and downs of a season,
00:24had to rally the troops when things are going tough,
00:27kind of keep everybody hungry and focused when things are going well
00:31and don't get to see what their process is.
00:34How much time do you think is enough time for a good Giants head coach?
00:39I don't know if there's an answer to that.
00:42I would say I think it's just hard to do it in a couple years,
00:48to get your players, get your staff to learn everything you all learn,
00:51just like I think it's very similar to a young quarterback.
00:55You see it with a lot of guys, sometimes the first time they go through some struggles,
01:01sometimes it takes a few years for them to figure out.
01:05And not necessarily just that they have one or two good seasons
01:08that they lead to, that they're going to be a great quarterback.
01:13It's just that each season is different in the NFL.
01:16Injuries, who your quarterback is, how things are going.
