00:00The Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Desi Rodriguez, reiterated that despite the imperialist threats of the U.S., the Venezuelan economy has continued to grow, achieving almost total sovereignty in the supply of essential products for the population.
00:14During the ninth edition of the Radiography of Venezuelan Retails event, the Vice President highlighted the country's economic advances centered on a new production model that prioritizes locally produced goods.
00:27She notes that the country has achieved 97% of market coverage, ensuring access to essential products, thanks to the promotion of local production.
00:38In this regard, she detailed that the dependency of foreign products had fallen by almost 6% in 2025.
00:47Rodriguez also points out that the national consumption measures in Bolivar, the Venezuelan currency, has grown by 40% so far this year, adding that the credit portfolio has reached its highest level since 2016, with an increase of 11.2% in the last year.
01:07The sector has good news to give the country, and that is the most important thing because it must also be said very clearly an economy that has nine warships at the forefront in the Caribbean Sea, that faces constant threats,
01:26That if they are going to fly over, that if they are going to fly over, that if they are going to do this, that if they are going to do that, and the response of the Venezuelan people has been that Venezuela is not afraid, we should not fear, because we are on the right path of history, which is the path of our liberators.
01:42We must defend our sovereignty and territorial integrity, we are prepared without hesitation, but prepared and ready to defend our country.
01:58But where we have defeated them the most is in the economic sector, because the psychological war they have waged on Venezuela for almost three months, no country could withstand.
02:08The economy would already be crumbling, it would be screaming, but we remain unshakable.
02:13We remain strong thanks to the efforts of each and every sector, and this is a super important sector.
02:23In this regard, Vice President Deci Rodriguez prized the commitment of the entire Venezuelan people in defending the national sovereignty in the face of threats promoted by U.S. imperialism, in complicity with the Venezuelan far right.
02:35I believe that we can humbly and modestly, but confidently, say that we have defeated the economic war, but also the psychological war of recent months.
02:51How have we done this?
02:53With the joy of our people, with their commitment, with their efforts and sacrifices.
02:57And here we are, already in the Christmas season, with just a month to go until 15 December, and then another week to welcome 2026.
03:08Venezuela is calm, Venezuela is following its path, a path that we have chosen, and we have had difficulties.
03:16Yes, but there we are, leading the region, a very turbulent region, but none of them have the threats that Venezuela has, none of them suffer or endure what you, the people, suffer and endure, as a result of an irrational economic blockade.
03:40And I would even say that Venezuelan extremism, which has called for invasion, called for economic warfare, and calls for us to be bombed, is a defeated sector.
03:52And that is why President Maduro said yesterday, that this sector does not exist, it is nothing, the people, it's you.
