00:00Did you know that the rise and the fall of world powers was predicted thousands of years ago?
00:10What is happening today?
00:13The rise of China, the division of nations, and the spread of technology was written thousands of years ago in the Bible through the prophecy of Daniel.
00:27Imagine, what we are seeing unfolding around us today was foretold long time ago.
00:39My name is Mr. Soparuchi and today I want to show you how modern events are fulfilling ancient prophecy.
00:49This discussion will connect history, world powers, technology, and Bible prophecy.
01:00The rise and fall of ancient world powers.
01:12We all know that the first world power in the history of the world was Egypt.
01:18Egypt ruled with great force and great barbarism, killed many people, subdued nations, but a kingdom, an empire that was even more ruthless, more violent than Egypt, fought Egypt and conquered Egypt and became the new world power.
01:43The second world power being Assyria.
01:49Assyria was so wicked, so barbaric, that God sent Jonah to go to the capital of Assyria, Nineveh, and declare his judgment upon them.
02:00This shows how barbaric and evil Assyrians were.
02:06But a more evil, a more barbaric, a more diabolic empire arose that fought Assyria and conquered Assyria.
02:18That empire was Babylon.
02:22Even the combined forces of Assyria and Egypt were not able to withstand the cruel force of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon.
02:32Babylon and Babylon crushed Assyria and Egypt and emerged as the new world power.
02:42After Assyria was made of Asia, two empires that combined forces, combined resources and alliance, fought Babylon with great force, conquered Babylon, and emerged as new world power.
02:54What is the trend here?
02:55What is the trend here?
02:56The trend here is violence, violence, the more violent a nation is, the more likely that nation will rise to world power.
03:06But something significant happened in the history of the world.
03:10The tide turned slightly.
03:13A nation called Greece came with a new ideology.
03:16Power became intellectual, not just sword, not just barbarism, not just war.
03:26It became intellectual.
03:29Power became driven by philosophy, culture, and reasoning.
03:36This new trend continued until Rome emerged as world power.
03:42Rome conquered Greece and emerged as world power.
03:45Rome continued where Greece stopped by contributing to civilisation.
03:54What did Rome do that was so civilised?
03:57Before Rome, no commoner was allowed to get involved in affairs of the kings, of the royal family.
04:06The world was, the people, humans in the world were divided into royalties and peasants.
04:11If you are not a royalty, you are a peasant.
04:12But Rome did something significant.
04:16Rome allowed commoners to become participants in their government and called those commoners
04:22senators.
04:24Rome contributed to civilisation.
04:27Rome improved law and order.
04:31Rome also included commoners, ordinary citizens of Rome, as senators,
04:37to help them govern the nation and the empire.
04:42Effectively.
04:43This shows that civilisation creeps into the world from the rule of Rome.
04:51When Rome fell, another power emerged.
04:55But before Rome fell, what can we conclude about that era?
05:01From the era of Egypt to the era of Rome?
05:06Power used to be measured by sword.
05:10Then it became measured by ideas and philosophies.
