Proposed passage of ICI, anti-dynasty bills welcomed  Caloocan 2nd District Rep. Edgar Erice on Nov. 11, 2025 welcomes the pronouncements of Speaker Faustino Dy 3rd to pass a proposal that will strengthen the Independent Commission on Infrastructure (ICI) and the filing of an anti-dynasty bill, noting that both measures will resolve the longstanding issue of corruption in the country. 01:43As a rule, nakita ko, naobserbahan ko, in my 50 years in politics and government service,

01:49karamihan ng mga dynasties ay nag-aabuso at mga koramp.

01:59Kasi ang executive galing sa political dynasty, ang senate, yung papasaba sa senate ayun, sir?

02:12kung gusto mo talaga na reforma,

02:16dapat magsimula ka sa iyong sariling pamilya.

03:15para sa negosyo ng kanilang pamilya.

03:29ito yung parusa na dapat tanggapin naming lahat

03:32ng mga politiko, ibigay namin yung reforma para sa bayan.

03:37Anti-political dynasty, yung pagpasasabatas ng ICI

03:41para maimbestigan at talagang mapatagot.

03:44Yung nagkasala, yung balimbingan, anti-turncoteism.

03:50Kaya nga, nagkakaroon ng mga supermajority,

03:53kung sino yung presidente, nandun na lahat,

03:55wala ng check and balance.

03:58Bukod dyan, yung campaign finance reform.

04:00Nakita naman natin, yung mga contractors,

04:03yung mga interest groups, sila na yung nagpo-pondo

04:07ng mga eleksyon ng mga politiko.

04:11Kung anti-political turncoteism bill,

04:16hindi po ba parang medyo mag-worry kayo na baka

04:19it needs a constitutional reform?

04:24Multi-party, ang ibig ko sabihin ng turncoteism,

04:27dalawang taon bago mag-eleksyon,

04:29dalawang taon after election,

04:30hindi ka pwedeng lumipat ng partido,

04:32kundi, madidisqualify ka.

04:34At least marag malinaw, kasi baka tumilin mo.
