00:00Nigeria superstar actress who has been in the news since she got married to a man many said was old enough to be her grandfather. Regina Daniels on Sunday early morning night revealed that she was married to the Nigeria senator representing Delta North, Prince Shidu Nwako aka Ned Nwako as a minor at the age of 17, a statement that allegedly accused the serving senator, Ned Nwako of apparent serious crime of child abuse, raping of minor, child molestation,
00:30and forced child marriage because Nigeria constitution stipulates 18 years of age for someone to be considered old enough to be able to consent to marriage or sexual activities, and any sexual activity with a minor, the older person is presumed according to the Nigeria constitution as a criminal suspect who took advantage of the minor and liable for child abuse and other related crimes, although, senator Ned Nwako is a Muslim by religion,
00:58a careful study of the Nigeria laws indicated that Islamic law is only binding on Muslim and Muslim and not Muslim and Christian or people from other religions, we are also aware that both of them are from Delta State in the south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria that is predominantly Christians that practices 18 years as a statutory and customary age requirement for someone to be considered old enough to give his or her voluntary consent for marriage and other forms of sexual activities.
01:28This, last month October, there was a heated debate at the Nigeria Red Chamber of the National Assembly where the senators bemoaned the high rates of child abuse and defilement of minors in Nigeria and recommended a stiffer punishment of life imprisonment for offenders,
01:44specifically, according to the Daily Post newspaper publication on October 21, 2025, the senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshio Molay, said defilement of a minor should be different from that of rape.
02:00For a minor, this is a kid that is not capable of consenting or otherwise and whose life can be destroyed almost permanently.
02:07Those involved in defilement should suffer great punishment.
02:11I propose 20 years imprisonment for whoever is found culpable for this crime without any option of fine,
02:18because I have seen cases of boys and girls under 5 and 10 years old being defiled by adults.
02:25He said, the proposal, was, however, defeated by the majority in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
02:32Following the defeat of the bill, Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero, Kevi Central, proposed stiffer punishment of life imprisonment for any man or woman found wanting in the act.
02:44I want to propose that the punishment for defilement for minors be life imprisonment, whether it's a man or woman found culpable.
02:51According to Regina Daniels, before she became the wife of Senator Ned M. Wokko, she was not into drugs or a drug addict.
02:59She alleged that it was Senator Ned M. Wokko who influenced and forced her into the habits of taking drugs in order for she to be able to satisfy the senator's sexual desire or meet up with his sexual pleasure.
03:11Verbatim, Regina Daniels said, dearest ex-husband, thanks for breaking the crown you put on my head.
03:19No one knew us like we did, and I trusted you with all of me, even with my sextate, which I pray never sees the light of day.
03:28Foolish me, when I married you at 17, was I on drugs.
03:32I thank God for time.
03:34My name is ruined for now, but I will rewrite my story.
03:39That narrative will be dead and gone.
03:41Now that I've let the one thing you had on me out, what else?
03:45It's time to fight with all of me in court.
03:48I'm not backing down now.
03:50Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse?
03:55You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this.
03:58You have always tried to cut them off because of the bond we share, and now you are trying to make them look bad for no reason.
04:07Fine, I did drugs.
04:09So what, is that even the issue between us?
04:12The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting, drugs, drugs, drugs, because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media.
04:22Something dramatic enough to distract everyone from the real issue.
04:26You want to find a reason to arrest everyone around me so that I will have no one left beside me, no friend, no support, no safe place to turn to.
04:37Then, when I'm completely isolated and broken, I will be forced to come back to you because I will have nowhere else to go.
04:44That has always been your strategy.
04:47Break people down, make them weak and powerless, and then have your way with them.
04:51But guess what, it's not going to work this time.
04:55Not anymore, you say you want me to go for rehab, but you are the same nerd who always wanted me high because, in your words, lem, sexier, when I'm high.
05:07You like me that way because it made me wild and romantic exactly how you wanted me to be.
05:12Why don't you also tell them how you force yourself on me whenever I say no?
05:18Why don't you tell them how you lock me up, seize my phones, and suddenly declare me, mentally unstable, the moment I say I no longer want to be in this relationship.
05:29But once I change my mind just to get out of that locked room, suddenly lem fine again, lem no longer mentally unstable, and apparently not in need of rehab anymore.
05:39Why don't you also tell them that all your wives and ex-wives are on drugs?
05:45And can you be kind enough to explain to them why that is?
05:49Why don't you also tell them how you lock me up and doctors to inject me with drugs meant for people with bipolar disorder?
05:56Why don't you tell them how you take my phones for weeks just because you hate that I talk to my family a lot?
06:02You have never seen me act incoherent, stumble, or lose control, so just stop.
06:09Every problem we have had started when I no longer wanted you, whether sober or even high.
06:16Stop using the, drugs, narrative to create distraction.
06:20Tell people the truth.
06:22I understand Shah, you are feeling rejected and hurt, and you are struggling to make peace with the fact that it's all over.
06:28Let me make this very clear, no matter how much you think you spent on me, it can never equal the value of the time I gave you, my prime years, my energy, and the career opportunities I sacrificed while being with you.
06:43And for the record, I would have filed for divorce long ago if there was ever a legal marriage between us.
06:50We were never married in any court of law, and no documents were signed.
06:54Leave me alone, Ned. Marriage is not by force. Love is not by force. Stop trying to control what no longer belongs to you.
07:06Serving Nigeria Senator, Prince Shinidu Nwako, well known as Nedo Nwako, has listed and narrated some of the things he has done for the family of his absconded fourth wife,
07:22Regina Daniels, particularly stating that, his mother-in-law, Regina Daniels' mother, Rita, received 125 million nairas from him in the past two years alone,
07:34apparently challenging the mother-in-law earlier media statement that none of the senator's children looked like a child of a billionaire,
07:41and that, she on her own spent her hard-earned money to support the senator's election,
07:47in addition to the $50,000 Regina Daniels gave to the 65-years-old Muslim husband from the southern part of Nigeria.
07:56Outside that, Senator Ned Nwako apparently tried to explain why his brother-in-law, Sami, was arrested and detained after his wife.
08:04Regina Daniels ran away from her matrimonial home and decided to end the marriage with the serving Nigeria senator on the ground of domestic violence,
08:13intimidation and oppression that made her looks like nothing in the house of the senator who she swiftly replied yesterday that Ned Nwako never married her legally,
08:23and she was apparently still a minor at age 17 when the Nigeria serving senator allegedly forced her into early marriage.
08:31Details of Regina Daniels' statements and the legal implications will be reported and published in our next news report for proper clarification and understanding,
08:41so that appropriate government bodies like the Nigeria police force will be held accountable to take decisive action for the protection of girl-child against sexual abuse,
08:51molestation, raping of minor and child marriage.
08:54According to the serving senator, Ned Nwako who attached two videos to his statements of Sami, Regina Daniels' brother having misunderstanding with some of his domestic staff and the policeman at his house,
09:07these videos show Sami, Regina's brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around.
09:16His visits were often aggressive and disruptive, this is someone I sponsored through his last two years at the University of Akpoma.
09:25I bought his musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja,
09:30in addition to the house I bought for Regina in Asaba before our marriage for the use of all of them.
09:36I also routinely provided allowances to all members of the family, including her mother, Rita Daniel.
09:42Indeed, in the last two years, I have a record of transferring 125 million nairas to her alone.
09:51When Regina started her rehabilitation, there was a clear instruction by the doctors to strictly restrict people,
09:58especially her enablers, from having access to her.
10:02The therapy was arranged after I noticed troubling changes in her behavior linked to her dependence on certain illegal substances,
10:09including going for 48 hours without sleeping and eating every two hours.
10:14Unfortunately, Sami, Destiny, some of their siblings, together with a few of their friends,
10:21notably Sonia Uche Montana among others, constantly defied those instructions.
10:26They would come into the house uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in,
10:31and would bring her the same drugs she was being treated for.
10:34Instead of helping her recover, they encouraged her addiction and completely frustrated the efforts of the doctors and therapists working with her.
10:43It is important to note that Lawrence, Sami, his girlfriend NK, Destiny, Sonia, and others also took the same drugs as Regina.
10:53In fact, Lawrence and Sami were the ones who first introduced and supplied these drugs to her.
10:59They were deeply involved in the habit themselves, and rather than helping her get better,
11:04they kept drawing her back into the same destructive lifestyle.
11:08I do not drink alcohol nor smoke.
11:11In fact, I am a vegetarian.
11:13So I found these characters and behaviors reprehensible and totally unacceptable.
11:19Just four weeks ago, I woke up around 5am and realized that Regina was in my room and on the phone.
11:25She was clearly high, and she knows that I do not want her in my room in that condition.
11:32I asked her to go to her room, and she told me that Sami's girlfriend was in her room.
11:37I was alarmed and angry because that girl should never have been in my house, let alone around Regina,
11:44since she is one of the enablers who constantly bring her the substances she is addicted to.
11:48I told Regina that the girl had to leave, and one of my drivers dropped her off.
11:55Thirty minutes later, Sami came to my house shouting and demanding that I come downstairs to face him.
12:01He said I had no right to ask his girlfriend to leave my house.
12:06He was ranting and threatening, waking up everyone, including the children.
12:11I eventually went downstairs and had to instruct the security to physically push him out of my compound.
12:17The level of audacity was shocking.
12:20Without the influence of drugs, could he have been so bold and disrespectful?
12:25They did not stop there.
12:27On several occasions, they verbally assaulted and intimidated the police officers stationed at the house for security.
12:34The officers were simply following instructions to restrict access for the sake of Regina's recovery,
12:40but Sami and his group would insult and threaten them.
12:42Whenever Regina wanted to go out and I was not around, she would become extremely hostile toward the police and domestic staff.
12:51She would shout, threaten, and use abusive words, insisting that she must leave the house no matter what.
12:58There were at least two serious incidents where she left home in the evening and did not return until the next day.
13:04The first incident she returned in the morning around 9am.
13:09When I asked where she had been all night, she casually said she was at a nightclub.
13:15When I questioned why she would stay out all night, ignoring my calls and refusing to answer messages,
13:21her response was, you are not my father, so don't ask me where I was.
13:25I found out that she was with Cassie and that Cassie was staying in Regina's house in Life Camp.
13:32Cassie is the chemist and supplier of the group.
13:35I had to go to Life Camp at 6pm to ask her to leave.
13:39With her around Regina, the therapy became a joke.
13:43On another occasion, on the kids' birthday to be precise,
13:47I returned home with the kids because Regina said she would stay with her Nollywood friends for dinner.
13:52She didn't return until 5pm the next day.
13:56I took so much nonsense just for the sake of the kids.
14:00I also knew that drugs had a lot to do with it.
14:03As to her reasons for continuing with drugs,
14:06she will always say, just like her mother, that it is a celebrity lifestyle.
14:11They will always mention two well-known pop stars.
14:15Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover,
14:18only to have the process sabotaged by her siblings and friends,
14:22the very people who should have been supporting her healing.
14:26This pattern of behavior made it almost impossible for her to recover.
14:30Each time progress was made,
14:32they would undo it by smuggling in the same drugs she was fighting to give up.
14:37The entire household lived in tension and fear because of the constant harassment,
14:42interference, and disregard for boundaries.
14:44It will be interesting to know her reasons for the violent behavior in the house
14:49the day that Sammy and other siblings came and attacked my staff and security,
14:54taking Regina away after doing a video which they posted the next day.
14:59Why did they do that video?
15:01Why did they post it?
15:02They simply planned and orchestrated a script all in my absence,
15:06regardless of the fact that my kids were there.
15:09They took away many things from my house,
15:12including one of my phones, money, and many other items.
15:16Everything that happened that day was in my house,
15:20in my absence.
15:21Nobody was beaten,
15:23and nobody could have contemplated that.
15:25It is blatantly false to say that I sent thugs to beat Regina in another house.
15:30The video that went viral was filmed entirely in front of my house
15:34by Regina's sister and her friend.
15:36It was a pure Nollywood scenario,
15:39in front of my property,
15:41in my absence.
15:43Sammy should have a life of his own outside of Regina
15:46and focus on building his career independently.
15:49When his brother Lawrence went to London a couple of years ago
15:52to do his master's degree,
15:54I personally sponsored him with $75,000 for tuition and upkeep.
15:59I sent him aboard partly to help him escape the toxic environment
16:03of drug exposure and bad influence around him at the time.
16:07Out of fairness,
16:08I offered Sammy the same opportunity,
16:11but he declined,
16:12insisting he wanted to remain in Nigeria to pursue his music career.
16:17Unfortunately,
16:18he has since been arrested several times by both the police and the EFCC.
16:22His behavior has become increasingly violent and unstable.
16:27What he needs now is total rehabilitation and professional guidance.
16:31Otherwise,
16:32his aggression and self-destructive tendencies will only worsen.
16:36Indigenous people of Biafra,
16:45IPOB has said that the detained Biafra Republic agitation leader,
16:49Mazi Namdi Karnu,
16:50has not forfeited his rights to defend himself
16:53before the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
16:56After the judge,
16:58Justice James Omatosho ruled on Friday
17:00and stated that Namdi Karnu rights to enter defense
17:04has been forfeited and thereafter,
17:06fixed November 20, 2025 for judgment
17:09as Namdi Karnu was seen to have staged
17:11a defensive confrontation with aggressive, loud voice,
17:15challenging the court that the federal government
17:17allegations against him has no legal basis
17:20or any aspect of the Nigeria law that backs such allegations.
17:24This,
17:25barrister Aloyeji Makaw,
17:27the organizing lawyer for the detained Biafra Republic agitation leader
17:30had on Wednesday said in a written and video statement
17:34posted on his ex-social media account that
17:37Namdi Karnu is competent enough to defend himself,
17:41especially given the political elements,
17:44in the case which he understands better than any lawyer.
17:47In a press release issued and made available on Friday,
17:50IPOB in the statement signed by Emma Powerful,
17:54said it strongly condemns the new round of fake news
17:57being pushed by certain Nigerian media outlets.
18:01The false claim that Mazin Amdi Karnu has
18:03forfeited his right to defense
18:05in the ongoing trial before Justice James
18:08Colawole Omatosho of the Federal High Court,
18:11Abuja,
18:12is a desperate lie meant to mislead the public
18:14and cover up an illegal process.
18:17Let the truth be clear,
18:19Mazin Amdi Karnu has not forfeited anything.
18:22What is happening in court is not a fair trial
18:25but a political show.
18:26Up till today,
18:28neither Justice Omatosho nor Chief Adigboi Agbarawamalo,
18:32San,
18:32the government's lead prosecutor,
18:34has been able to point to any valid,
18:36existing law that Mazin Amdi Karnu supposedly broke.
18:40Their silence speaks volumes.
18:42It is a quiet confession that this entire case
18:45has no legal foundation.
18:47The core question remains simple.
18:49Can anyone be prosecuted or convicted
18:52without a living law that clearly defines the offense
18:54and prescribes a punishment?
18:57The answer is written in section 36, 12,
19:00of Nigeria's 1999 constitution.
19:03A person shall not be convicted of a criminal offense
19:07unless that offense is defined
19:08and the penalty therefore is prescribed in a written law.
19:12This means you cannot charge or convict anyone
19:15unless the law exists in black and white.
19:18No judge or lawyer can twist that.
19:21The Supreme Court has said the same thing many times.
19:24Inoukho vs. Fagbemi, 1961,
19:28AG Federation vs. Abu Bakr, 2007,
19:32and NNPC vs. Fawahinmi, 1998.
19:36Where there is no law,
19:37there can be no trial,
19:39no conviction,
19:40and no justice.
19:41But instead of obeying this clear rule,
19:44Justice Omatosho keeps trying to force
19:46Mazin Amdi Karnu to
19:48open his defense,
19:49as if pretending there's a valid case will make it real.
19:53This is wrong.
19:54It's a misuse of power and a clear violation of fair hearing.
19:58You cannot force a man to defend himself against a ghost charge.
20:03So we ask again,
20:05under which law is Mazin Amdi Karnu being tried?
20:08What act of the National Assembly defines his supposed offense?
20:12And by what right does a judge compel a defense where no offense in law exists?
20:18Nigerians deserve honest answers,
20:20not propaganda.
20:22Everyone should read section 36, 12,
20:25and know their rights.
20:26It protects all of us from tyranny.
20:29Any court that ignores the constitution becomes part of the problem,
20:33not the solution.
20:35IPOB fully supports Mazin Amdi Karnu's stand in refusing to legitimize this illegality by entering a defense.
20:43The truth is unshakable.
20:45No valid law supports this case,
20:47none whatsoever.
20:48Now,
20:49Justice Omatosho says he will give judgment without even allowing final addresses from both sides.
20:56That's laughable and unheard of in criminal law.
20:59If that is truly his position,
21:01then maybe he needs to go back to law school
21:04and learn what due process means.
21:06In the directives of the Supreme Court,

26:25Good morning sir.
26:26Yes I know you attended the proceedings today.
26:28Yes I did.
26:29Just a summary of what happened.
26:32What happened in court today for me continues to be a travesty of justice.
26:40I've always said it that in Nigeria there appear to be two sets of rules.
26:48One for the Igbo man and another for the other Nigerians.
26:52This is exactly what I saw in court today.
26:54First of all my name is Honorable Obi Agocha.
26:58I represent the great people of Iguano.
27:00Umar here north and Umar here south for inconsistency.
27:04I am the primary representative for Mazie Namdikiano.
27:08So I'm going to speak to you as a layman.
27:12I'm not a lawyer.
27:14Um.
27:16Newpson Kraniki or Jayah.
