00:00Welcome to the class. How are you doing?
00:04Hi, Jared. Good morning.
00:08Welcome there. Let's see what do we have today, beginning with our sixth week right here.
00:14So we have this topic to discuss here, technology and you.
00:22So we're going to see what are the communication goals.
00:25So we have recommend a brand or a model, express sympathy for a problem, complain when things don't work and describe features of products.
00:40So in this case, this is a very interesting topic because we can discuss how people have become more dependent on technology and how this has become more and more relevant.
00:52So we're going to have this.
00:56So we're going to listen to some vocabulary here to warm up. Here we go.
01:00Here we go.
01:19Listen and repeat in the pauses.
01:22A tablet.
01:27A laptop computer.
01:34A desktop computer.
01:41A keyboard.
01:45A GPS.
01:46A smartphone.
01:47A smartphone.
01:49A cell phone.
01:53A flash drive.
01:56A digital camera.
02:00Headphones.
02:01Earbuds.
02:03A projector.
02:08A printer.
02:11A projector.
02:14A printer.
02:18A webcam.
02:22Speakers.
02:30Read and listen to a conversation about a product that's not working.
02:38So do we have here some vocabulary of this store that is called Airport Electronics.
02:45Your Airport Electronics Center.
02:47So we have the tablets.
02:49We have a GPS.
02:53We have a digital camera.
02:55So what else do you see on these items available, David?
02:58What other products do you see?
03:05Tell me.
03:08A cell phone, a smartphone.
03:13A desktop.
03:16A digital camera.
03:19USB drivers.
03:25USB drives, yes.
03:28USB drives.
03:29What else do you see?
03:31A printer.
03:32A printer.
03:33A printer.
03:34A printer.
03:35A printer.
03:36A printer.
03:37Print is a verb.
03:38Remember, print is a verb.
03:39I want to print a document, I need to print a form, but printer is the device.
03:56You know, the printer.
03:57The printer.
03:58This one is called Sisters Multifunction Printer.
04:02How much does the printer cost?
04:06It costs.
04:07It costs.
04:08You need to mention, you need to mention the pronoun.
04:13It.
04:14It costs.
04:15600.
04:16What?
04:17It costs.
04:18600.
04:19What?
04:20It costs.
04:21629.
04:22It costs.
04:23629.
04:24Excellent.
04:25Very good.
04:26What about the HDC-230 webcam?
04:31How much does it cost?
04:38How much does the webcam cost?
04:40The webcam feature.
04:42The webcam, yes.
04:43It's below the printer.
04:45It costs.
04:4779.
04:4979.
04:50Okay.
04:51Excellent.
04:52Very good.
04:53The speakers.
04:56How much do they cost?
05:00I'm looking for the speakers.
05:06Hello.
05:08Dimitec speakers, those are below the webcam.
05:16They're on the same line, right on the right side of the page.
05:21They, they code, because it's a plural. Speakers is plural, so you have to use they. With a webcam, it's a singular, so you have to use it. The printer is singular, you use it. What about the Simplex Supershot digital camera? How much does it code? Does it say? Is there a label around?
05:43We don't have the price. Sorry? I can't see the price. No, but in this case you have to say, it doesn't, it doesn't, it doesn't have the price, or it doesn't show, it doesn't show the price, because if you say, I can't see, I can't see the price, remember that the model verb can is to express an ability.
06:13So, if you say can't, it could mean that the product does have the price, but you cannot see it. It's completely different, you know, so you have to be careful with that, because can expresses an ability of something that you can or you cannot see, whereas in this case you have to say, it doesn't show the price.
06:34So, one more time, how much does a digital camera cost?
06:40It doesn't have the price.
06:42That's good, excellent, very good. What about the portable GPS?
06:45How much does it cost?
06:52It's on the left side, next to the camera.
06:57Portable GPS, my body.
06:592660, 2660, portable GPS, how much does it cost?
07:04It cost $299.
07:07Excellent, very good. And what features does it include?
07:13What features?
07:14Yes, what features does it include?
07:19What is that feature?
07:21What is, like, what the GPS offers?
07:29What are the characteristics?
07:32Without the screen.
07:35Okay, but you need to elaborate the statement, David, remember.
07:39The GPS includes?
07:42The GPS includes, without the screen.
07:44What else?
07:47Light traffic updates.
07:49Excellent, very good.
07:50Do you need a GPS right now in your life?
07:53Do you need a GPS right now in your life?
08:01No, sure, I didn't.
08:03No, I don't.
08:04I don't.
08:05I didn't is for the best.
08:08We're talking in simple present tense.
08:10Have you ever had a GPS device in your car?
08:17Yes, I have in my cell phone.
08:19No, but nobody in your car, have you?
08:23Pay attention to the question.
08:25Have you ever had a GPS in your car?
08:29No, I haven't.
08:31No, okay. Excellent, very good.
08:33So in this case, what else do we have?
08:35What other device do we have?
08:36We have laptop and desktop computers.
08:39So do they have the price?
08:40How much do they cost?
08:41They haven't showed the price.
08:57They don't show the price.
08:59They don't show the price.
09:01Haven't is for the person perfect, but in this case, we are not describing an action that
09:08has been done in the past participle, we're just simply describing products that in this
09:15case, the laptop and the desktop computers did not include the price.
09:22That's good.
09:23So what else do we have?
09:24So prices you won't believe, that's the point.
09:29So let's see.
09:30What about the flash drives?
09:32What are the costs of the flash drives, David?
09:35How much do they cost?
09:42Well, we have different prices.
09:46It costs $9.99.
09:50What capacity?
09:51What capacity costs $9.99?
09:54Remember that whenever you work at a store, whenever you have this information available,
09:59you have to provide the full information to the customer so that he can know perfectly what
10:06he's going to buy.
10:09So for example, here you have three flash drives, different capacities, and each one of those
10:14costs a different price of money.
10:17You know, so what about the 4GB flash drives, how much does it cost?
10:24For the 4GB, it costs $9.99.
10:30$9.99, excellent, very good.
10:32What about the 8GB?
10:34How much does it cost?
10:36For the 8GB, it costs $17.99.
10:43That's good.
10:44And what other capacities do they offer?
10:51We have the last one, 52GB flash drives.
10:57It costs $54.99.
11:00$34.99, excellent, very good.
11:03So there we have it.
11:04So that's the point.
11:07Then we have the Bluetooth keyboard.
11:10What about the Bluetooth keyboard?
11:12So what are the features that this keyboard offers, David?
11:16What do you think?
11:17What can you see?
11:20Bluetooth?
11:22Where?
11:23It's next to the flash drive.
11:25Next to the flash drive on your left side.
11:30Oh, Bluetooth keyboard.
11:32It costs $32.99.
11:41That wasn't the question.
11:42What features does it include?
11:44What features does it offer?
11:47Remember that features are characteristics.
11:51So what are the features that this Bluetooth keyboard provides?
11:54The keyboard is compatible for all Bluetooth tablets.
12:08Excellent, very good.
12:09And how much does it cost?
12:13It costs $39.99.
12:16So one more question.
12:19How much did it cost previously?
12:21Uh, previously it costs $32.99.
12:29Are you sure?
12:31Because $32.99 is the official price, but there is another number below.
12:36How much did it cost before?
12:38Or how much did it cost previously?
12:41Because that's a discount.
12:42Okay, previously the cost is $39.99.
12:48The cost was, because previously is the best.
12:52Remember that?
12:54You need to, you need to be attentive on what tense you're using.
12:58Whenever you talk in simple present tense, you have to use the verb to be ease.
13:01Whenever you talk in simple past, you use was or were.
13:05One more time.
13:06How much does the Bluetooth keyboard cost right now?
13:12Uh, the current price is $32.99.
13:17$32.99.
13:18$32.99, right.
13:20It cost $32.99.
13:22Excellent, very good.
13:23And how much did it cost before?
13:26It cost was $32.99.
13:29That's good, perfect.
13:30Excellent, very good.
13:31Then we have the Stryker, a 1900X home theater LCD projector.
13:39So, how much does it cost?
13:48We don't show the current price.
13:50It doesn't.
13:51Are you sure?
13:52It doesn't.
13:56Well, the cost was $266.
14:00$2,000, $2,000, $6,99.
14:06That's good.
14:07Excellent, very good.
14:08So, there we have it.
14:10So, there we have, for example, what about the Ace wireless headphones?
14:16How much do they cost?
14:19Ace wireless headphones.
14:21Where is that?
14:22It cost $99.
14:25Mm-hmm.
14:26That's good.
14:27And what color, what color is it?
14:36What color?
14:38Mm-hmm.
14:39What color is the product?
14:41What is the variant of the color that is sold?
14:45The color is silver tone.
14:49Silver tone.
14:50Excellent, very good.
14:51So, that's, do they have a special offer in regard of this product?
14:56Yes, we have, um, if you buy the headphones, we can give you a free pair of MP3 earbuds.
15:16Earbuds, excellent, very good.
15:18Perfect.
15:19That's the point.
15:20And what about the smartphone and the cell phones?
15:23What, uh, what are the features that they offer?
15:27How much do they cost?
15:29Is there a particular discount with them or what?
15:32Wait, well, um, they cost, uh, $279, but, and the price is reduced, it's reduced to $59.
15:50Mm-hmm.
15:52$59.99.
15:55Okay, $59.99, so that's, that we have it.
15:58And, you know, the, uh, smartphones and the cell phones.
16:02So, in this case, for example, we have a variant.
16:05We have a difference in which we can see a smartphone and a cell phone.
16:10If you were, if you were at, um, at this technology store, David, how would you explain your customers?
16:20What is the difference between a smartphone and a cell phone?
16:24What do you think?
16:28Well, a smartphone is, uh, um, a new cell phone.
16:34It's, uh, technology.
16:37And they have, uh, many variants in the cell phone.
16:42You, you can connect with the Wi-Fi.
16:45Uh, you have the social media in your cell phone.
16:48And another one is, uh, you have to say, it includes more advanced technology.
16:56It includes more advanced technology.
16:59That's good.
17:00And what about a cell phone?
17:02It's a traditional phone.
17:04Mm-hmm.
17:06They don't include, uh, technology, advanced.
17:10The, uh, it doesn't, it doesn't have an advanced technology.
17:18It doesn't have?
17:20No, it doesn't.
17:21It doesn't have.
17:22It doesn't.
17:23It doesn't have advanced technology.
17:26Okay.
17:27So, I repeat, it doesn't have advanced technology.
17:32It doesn't have in advanced technology.
17:37It doesn't have advanced.
17:39We don't say in advanced.
17:40No, that's a different thing.
17:42It doesn't have advanced technology.
17:46Or it doesn't have new technology.
17:48One more time.
17:48It doesn't have new technology.
17:52Okay.
17:52So, what other features, what other features can be found in a traditional cell phone?
18:04Mm-hmm.
18:11I'm not sure, teacher.
18:13Okay, well, try to describe a, try to describe a cell phone, you know?
18:16I mean, it has buttons to dial the numbers that you want to dial to call someone.
18:24It doesn't have applications, but it includes, I don't know, a watch or a radio.
18:31Uh, cell phones used to have different features, you know?
18:35Or it includes some games.
18:37Or it also includes an agenda.
18:40Um, you can, uh, you can put or record music with yourself.
18:46You can get a cell phone, you can get online, you can get into the internet with your cell phone.
18:52But, if you want more features in terms of a phone, try to go for a smartphone.
19:00That actually gives you more possibilities to interact with other people and with other websites.
19:06So, it's really important that you learn how to describe different products, how to describe different things, because that's necessary.
19:14Not only, not only in the case that you get to work at a technology store, but also when you go to a technology store and you plan to buy something,
19:23because you need that vocabulary and that information in order to know what you are planning to buy or what you are planning to sell, right?
19:33So, that, those are, those are key aspects in, uh, in English vocabulary.
19:39So, what else do we have, um, we've got here a laptop and a desktop computer, right?
19:47So, this is a very good item to describe, because there are many people who do not have, uh, wide knowledge in terms of, uh, computers, you know?
19:58I mean, there are so many people these days, I mean, it's, as, as strange or as rare as it may sound,
20:05but there are so many people these days that do not have a basic knowledge of what a computer does or what a laptop computer is, you know?
20:13So, it's, it's, uh, something worth knowing how to describe it and how to analyze it properly in order to provide the necessary and the correct, uh, the correct information, uh, for people, right?
20:27So, in this case, uh, David, what are the main differences that you can find in, uh, laptop computer or in a desktop computer?
20:37Let's imagine that I'm a customer at your store, I don't know anything about computers, you know, I have no idea, uh, so how would you explain to me what, what, uh, what are the advantages, disadvantages,
20:52or what are the characteristics that, that you can find in a laptop computer and in a desktop computer?
21:03Hmm.
21:03Okay, teacher, well, we have different, uh, computer models here.
21:09Mm-hmm.
21:09Um, this laptop into your, um, um, new technology.
21:21Mm-hmm.
21:22Uh, and also we have the opportunity to connect, uh, different, uh, device.
21:30Mm-hmm.
21:32Uh, from the laptop.
21:34Uh, also we have the, uh, um, the speakers.
21:41The speakers, right.
21:43Are input, are input, are input in the laptop, into the laptop.
21:46Inside, inside the laptop, yes.
21:50Inside the laptop, it's not necessary to use, um, uh, a keyboard, because the laptop has the keyboard.
22:04Uh-huh.
22:06Uh-huh.
22:07Uh-huh.
22:08Uh-huh.
22:09Uh-huh.
22:10Okay, that, that, that statement is incomplete.
22:12The laptop has the keyboard.
22:14What do you mean, the laptop has?
22:16We need something else, right there.
22:18I mean, uh, in Spanish, the idea is understandable, but not in English.
22:23You have to complete that statement in English, you have to complete that statement.
22:25So, how would you complete that sentence?
22:27The laptop.
22:28The laptop.
22:29The laptop.
22:30The laptop, uh, has included the, the keyboard.
22:36You need, uh, you need a, you need a preposition.
22:38You need to place a preposition there.
22:44Inside?
22:45Yeah.
22:46Uh, well, inside would be, like, uh, you can use inside, but remember that inside is when
22:53something is within the device, but it's not visible.
22:58For example, inside is the processor, inside is the memory, or the hard drive, it's in size,
23:06or the, um, the wires and the, um, the microchip, it's inside of the laptop, because you know
23:15that this, uh, device or these technologies embedded has been placed inside of the structure
23:23of the laptop, but not the keyboard.
23:26The keyboard is visible here, you know, the keyboard is outside.
23:30So in this case, you simply say, the keyboard, the keyboard is in the laptop, the keyboard
23:42is in the laptop, or the laptop has a keyboard in it.
23:46The laptop has a keyboard in it, you know, in it.
23:52So that means that it's, that it's inside, but you can see it, you can perceive it, you
23:57know?
23:58You can touch it, you can interact with it.
24:00So we need to be careful with that, because if you say inside, inside is, it's going to
24:06be understood as, it's, uh, inside of the structure of the laptop, but not necessarily can be seen,
24:13you know?
24:14You have to be careful with that one.
24:15Excellent.
24:16Break it.
24:17And what are the advantages?
24:18For example, what are the advantages that a desktop computer, uh, provides?
24:25For example, what are the advantages that a desktop computer provides?
24:33For example, what are the advantages that a desktop computer is, what do you think?
24:46The laptop is a portable computer.
24:52A portable computer.
24:56For example, what are the advantages that a desktop computer provides?
25:07Do you see the blue question right here?
25:09Yes, I can see.
25:10Okay, that one.
25:11The desktop computer, not the laptop.
25:13We have already described the laptop, but I would like to know, what does a desktop computer
25:20offers in contrast with the laptop, because we already know that the laptop provides different,
25:27um, advancements and different advantages, especially because it's portable, it's light,
25:33you can take it everywhere you go, you can, uh, play music in it, you can play, uh, videos
25:39on it, and, uh, you can, uh, download and share your pictures or your multimedia content with
25:47whoever you would like to around the world, you know, those are the advantages of a laptop.
25:52You want to get online, you simply, uh, need your Wi-Fi, your Wi-Fi service, in order to
26:00get online, as a laptop is usually wireless, but what about a desktop computer, what are the
26:06main differences with a desktop computer?
26:13I don't know, teacher, um...
26:33Okay, whenever, whenever you run out of ideas, remember that you can list down a series of
26:39words, of vocabulary that, that help you to elaborate a paragraph or to elaborate and
26:46structure your ideas, right?
26:48So, for example, uh, desktop computer, desktop computer, you can say, for example, faster,
26:56um, uh, uh, cheaper, perhaps, and, uh, what else can we say?
27:02And, uh, and larger, right?
27:04So, with those three words, you can create an idea, for example, the main advantages, advantages
27:10of a desktop computer, for a desktop computer, the main advantages of a desktop computer are
27:18that is a lot larger than a laptop computer, it has a larger screen, where you can see all
27:34of your content, all, or where you can see all of your, all of your tools, your tools at first
27:47glance, you know, at first glance, it means with the first perception that you receive from
27:52your eyes, you know, you can see all of your tools at first glance, um, what else?
27:59It's, uh, considerably, it's considerably faster in comparison to a laptop, to a laptop computer,
28:12uh, it's useful to work, it's useful to work, to play video games, to watch movies, or even
28:23to read books.
28:28Officially, officially, it's cheaper than a laptop computer.
28:39Most of our customers prefer a desktop computer over a laptop one, laptop one, you know, that
28:51would be a short description.
28:53And how have we made this description?
28:55Well, we simply listed three words, and from those three words, we, uh, created our idea,
29:03we center our attention in those three words in order to elaborate the description.
29:09So that's important to practice that.
29:10You need to brainstorm different words that you have, different words that actually come
29:14to your mind in order to elaborate a description of the products, right?
29:20Okay.
29:21So that's, that's the point.
29:23Hmm.
29:24So for example, in your case, uh, David, do you have a laptop computer or a desktop computer?
29:31I have a laptop computer.
29:34Excellent.
29:35Very good.
29:36Did you ever have a desktop computer at any point of your life?
29:40Yes, I have.
29:42They have.
29:43Mm-hmm.
29:44Uh, so in this case, what were the main, uh, advantages or disadvantages that you see comparing
29:53the, um, comparing the desktop with the laptop computer, in your opinion, in your own experience,
30:01what were the main differences that you, that you notice?
30:05Yes.
30:06You can also explain your own experiences, you know, so that can help you greatly.
30:10Mm-hmm.
30:11Well, in my case, the laptop computer is more easy to use.
30:16Mm-hmm.
30:17It's easier.
30:18Okay.
30:19Easier.
30:20Mm-hmm.
30:21Easier to use, um, because it's portable, or portable, how do you say?
30:27Portable.
30:28Portable.
30:29Mm-hmm.
30:30Portable.
30:31Portable.
30:32near the desktop computer is fixed to the desk.
30:37So sometimes, I prefer to use it to a laptop because we can use it anywhere.
30:46Uh, in a place.
30:47Okay.
30:48And we can connect, work from the laptop computer and we have a camera, a ti-tock,
30:54from the laptop computer and we have a camera to talk with frames or on any else
31:10in the case today for the um this computer
31:16that's true you know that's that's good excellent you see so it's not as difficult as the thing you
31:29need you just need to focus on your own experience you just need to focus on describing properly
31:35uh you can also use your your main experiences or the experiences from uh somebody else you know
31:41either from a friend or from a relative so that's that's a lot easier to describe and a lot more of
31:49ideas are gonna come to your mind so that you can actually uh be a lot more focused on that you know
31:56so that's uh that's something really good excellent break in so in this case well we have the vocabulary
32:04here look at the end tell your partner about a product you need and why you need it for example
32:10here we have the description that this person says that i need a webcam i want to see my sister
32:18when we talk on the internet so seeing uh these different products that we have here
32:28is there any uh option david that you actually need in your life right now or is there an option that
32:35you may be planning uh to buy it uh for example for this christmas or for this black friday so what uh
32:45is there any is there any is there any yes teacher yes i see the possibility to to buy a new cell phone
32:55black friday that's good excellent break it so that's the point so wait where are you planning to buy uh
33:03uh where are you planning to buy um a new cell phone because my current cell phone it doesn't work
33:14so i need a new so a new smart cell phone mm-hmm do you need technology
33:21uh faster faster faster than the current cell phone than i have um and also because
33:33is more um easier to use for me okay it's a lot easier okay excellent break it's a lot easier so that's um
33:46um that's the point so there there we have it you know so that's there are different options that
33:55one can choose in order to uh like to take advantage of the new uh the new offers that we get or the new
34:03possibilities that we have in order to uh like to update you know that's that would be the uh the verb here
34:14like to update these uh devices so that's uh that's fantastic so let's see in this case we've got here
34:25what else we have we've got a dialogue here between these uh these two people
34:32so before before we continue with the dialogue we're gonna have an assignment here we're gonna
34:38uh copy this content so that we can practice a little bit our uh vocabulary and all that uh assignment one
34:51uh describe five products
34:53describe the features the features of five products from the from the advertisement
35:12tell their advantages
35:24and disadvantages
35:28as well as as well as there
35:38advantages and disadvantages
35:42as well as their uh let's say for example
35:53as well as their characteristics
36:01here we go
36:03right so we're gonna do that as an exercise you know to provide some information here
36:09in order to practice right you have to choose five products from the advertisement to tell their
36:19advantages and disadvantages as well as their characteristics for example let's say
36:24that i've chosen to describe the imitec speakers you know so in order to describe the imitec speakers i
36:32i would say for example the imitec the imitec speakers the speakers the speakers provide
36:42a great quality a great quality a great quality a great quality audio for all those who are passionate
36:53about about about about audio and music
37:04these speakers could be a great addition to your entertainment set
37:12that because because because because they have
37:22a higher frequency a higher frequency
37:31in high and low tones
37:43providing more fidelity
37:45quality in terms of audition
37:54and experience
37:55quality in high and low tones
37:58these speakers
38:09these speakers have a higher
38:15these speakers have a higher volume
38:17a higher volume
38:22uh let's say increasement
38:24you know
38:27increasement
38:28they have these speakers
38:30these
38:31sorry
38:31these
38:32right there
38:33these speakers have a higher volume
38:36increasement or a higher volume range
38:38we're gonna use range in this case
38:40that sounds a lot better
38:42with the description
38:43these speakers have a higher volume range
38:45than
38:46their previous
38:48than their previous model
38:54so that's
38:55that's a short description of one of these
38:58of these devices so you need to
39:00pick five you know you need to choose five
39:03in order to
39:04in order to uh practice
39:07how to describe one
39:08what uh what comparisons
39:11you could do and what is the main information that you could
39:15provide because
39:16it's really uh
39:17common that uh whenever you work
39:20at a technology store or whenever you are
39:23at a mall or
39:25let's say
39:28in one of these
39:31technology stores
39:32and and you go there as a customer
39:35or you work there
39:38there is always
39:39uh there are always so many devices
39:42and even devices that
39:44that
39:46are so new
39:47as we
39:47as we know that technology is
39:49improving
39:51with uh
39:52every day that goes by
39:53you know i mean
39:54technology never stops
39:56and
39:59and despite the fact that we already know how
40:01a pair of speakers work
40:03or what a webcam is
40:06or what are the main difference between a laptop computer and a desktop computer
40:11most of the times
40:14we have so many new products
40:18or it could even be the same product but
40:21with new features you know like for example with these uh
40:25iphones
40:27smartphones you know
40:29that every every year or every two years or every five years
40:35there is a new model in the market and people actually
40:38are really eager to know
40:41what are the features or the characteristics that
40:44the new product provides you know and
40:47what features are better in comparison to the previous models
40:51that came out in the market for sale
40:54so
40:57or even with uh
40:58now with watches you know with watches and clocks that
41:02they have become more digital and even smart
41:06you know like you can control
41:09the color of your watch or the uh the alarms or the notifications that you receive
41:16in your watch as if you were as if you were using a cell phone
41:20and uh and you can control all of these features with your voice or with a speaker you know which
41:27that's where we're
41:29where all of these uh new um
41:33offers and options with the alexa speakers and all those
41:38come in you know
41:40so you have to explain all of those details to the to the customer because for example
41:45you may be selling uh an alexa speaker
41:51that actually works with one of the smart watches
41:54so you need to show the customer how to connect
41:59uh how to connect the speaker with the smartwatch using bluetooth or using the wi-fi or using any other
42:06option available you know
42:09so all of those details may seem so intuitive or logical to us
42:14but for a rather new customer who is not who who may not be so familiar with the technology or
42:22with all of these advantages that the technology offers it may be quite difficult to understand you
42:29know so uh this explaining this could actually
42:33could actually help us to save a lot of time and to save a lot of time to that customer so that
42:43he or she can go happily to their house uh in order to enjoy their device so that they cannot
42:51so that they they don't have the necessity to come back to the store in order to receive further
42:57information or to get further detail because sometimes you know there are so many difficult
43:03clients or customers that tend to be quite impatient or even sometimes aggressive and they say you
43:09know what i bought this product and they told me that it would work perfectly and automatically
43:14and once i got home i open it and it and it didn't work you know and perhaps it's perhaps they didn't
43:21notice a small detail that um that was necessary for in order to make the device to work you know in order
43:29to make the device work but they didn't realize it because they're not really familiar with it so it is
43:34really important uh to to explain every detail and each tiny uh detail to them so that they can know
43:44exactly how their options and their devices work you know so this is going to be a really good practice
43:52uh to describe five different products do you have any questions uh with this activity uh david
44:01yeah okay excellent very good so you you can even practice it with dialogues you know try to create
44:08some dialogues so that you can practice a little bit like try to imagine the situation in which you
44:12receive a customer to store or uh try to imagine or to create a situation where you are the one who is
44:19going to a store to a technology store in order to receive a certain information uh in terms of a
44:25device that you may be interested in buying so that you can see how your dialogue flows and what are the
44:33what are the problems that you have with grammar or vocabulary so you can spot those details in order
44:39to work on them you know so that's the point uh so once that you finish remember to send me your
44:46exercise please so that's it for today uh david we continue tomorrow right uh thank you thank you very
44:53much and uh have a good day
