Baler-Casiguran Road destroyed by Super Typhoon Uwan
Drone footage showed a heavily damaged road along the coastline of Aurora Province on Monday where Super Typhoon Uwan (Fung-wong) first made landfall. The Baler-Casiguran Road, which runs alongside the coast, was ripped up in parts and palm trees were toppled. The typhoon barreled through the northern Philippines on Sunday, killing at least four people and forcing more than a million people to evacuate due to its heavy winds and rains.
