01:25According to early reports from the Civil Defense Office, at least two people were killed
01:30and two others injured.
01:32Authorities say assessment and clearing operations are now underway.
01:36The storm, locally known as Uwan, has since weakened after crossing Luzon and is now tracking
01:42across the South China Sea, with forecasts indicating it may move northeast toward Taiwan.
01:48Officials, however, warn that heavy rains, strong winds, and storm swells will continue
01:53to affect large parts of the Philippines.
01:56More than 400 flights have been canceled since Sunday, according to the Civil Aviation Authority.
