02:45It came up empty.
02:47Yeah, so here's the mistake by Bellinger.
02:49He needs to hit Noah Soal
02:51to give Dart a chance
02:53to get out on this play action.
02:55Briscoe will then
02:57pull the trigger. This does not have to be
03:00such a far throw.
03:01But when Bellinger just kind of bluffs at Soal,
03:04you can hear the crowd. They're losing their mind
03:06because they think there should
03:08be a late hit
03:10on the quarterback. I don't think
03:12there was, but again,
03:14if Bellinger just executes that

16:33The Verizon Halftime is coming up right after these messages and a word from your local Fox station.
17:03Bobby Reed bringing us back with today's game flow presented by Progressive back on the lakeshore here in Chicago 10-7.
17:11The Giants ahead.
17:13Out of the second half we go.
17:16The Bears are talking about the most explosive offense in the NFL this year, but it's been the Giants that have controlled the explosive play category.
17:23The Bears have given up a bunch of yards per usual, just they don't have any takeaways to really help overcome it.
17:31It's been the story this season.
17:33They've given up as many yards as anybody, but they've gotten more takeaways than anybody.
17:37Giants have not turned it over yet.
17:39And they'll have the ball to begin this second half.
17:41Kairos Santos to kick it.
17:46Gunnar Osheski back to return with Deontay Banks.
17:50Rotated a bunch of guys back there at the Giants have the last few weeks.
17:53Banks getting his shot.
17:55And he's got it here from the five.
18:00Banks with a solid return.
18:03And great field position for New York.
18:05So Banks out to the 45.
18:08We welcome it back inside here.
18:10And we were talking about this a little bit earlier.
18:12One team 5-3, the other 2-7.
18:14It's like this is a mismatch when you look at that.
18:16But a lot of the difference has been the close games.
18:19There's not much separation between these two teams, and that was evident in the first half.
18:23Yeah, and I think in the first half I thought both quarterbacks were efficient.
18:26I thought they both made plays both in rhythm and outside the pocket.
18:29I don't think the weather is affecting them very much.
18:32We've seen them both be very accurate throwing the ball on the run downfield.
18:36So, again, it really just came down to the management of that final two minutes of the first half.
18:41That's been the difference.
18:42Dart throws this one high for Tracy and incomplete.
18:45199 yards in that first half for Jackson Dart.
18:48His first toss of the second is incomplete.
18:50Down to the field.
18:51Here's Pam.
18:52Yeah, Joe, you talk about Jackson Dart.
18:55And he's looking right at home here at Soldier Field, isn't he?
18:57I talked to Brian Dable about his quarterback.
19:00He says, what we're seeing, nothing about it surprises me.
19:04It's what we've seen from him over the last six games.
19:07Defensively, he's happy.
19:09He feels like the defense is playing team defense.
19:12More from Ben Johnson in a sec.
19:14Handoff here.
19:15Straight ahead, Tracy, trying to get that ground game going.
19:17Go ahead, Pam.
19:19Ben Johnson told me, defensively, we have to eliminate the explosives.
19:23They're throwing the ball over our heads.
19:26Can't let them do that.
19:27Offensively, he said, needs to be more efficient in the run game so we can open up some other things.
19:32Yeah, they're 5-3, even though they have not played a clean, complete game.
19:36They've taken advantage of a poor schedule and made plays when they've had to.
19:40And look, that's more than they could say in recent years.
19:42When they tended to lose those close games, they have found a way
19:45and find themselves in another game that's shaping up to be one where they're going to have to.
19:50Here's Wondell Robinson tiptoe in the sideline, and they convert third down.
19:56You know, some injuries to report for you.
19:59Darius Slayton, who had a monster first half there.
20:01Three catches, 85 yards.
20:04Dealing with a hamstring.
20:05He's questionable to come back.
20:07Demetrius Flanagan fouls already their third linebacker they've put into that spot.
20:11He's questionable as well with a pec injury.
20:14And then DJ Moore for the Bears who are detailing, look like injured that shoulder.
20:18He also is questionable.
20:20From the 45, Dart with a deep drop.
20:23Eyes downfield, coverage tight.
20:25Dart will take off and slide.
20:27How about that?
20:28A slide from Jackson Dart.
20:29Brian Dabeau is telling us, look, third down, you go be crazy.
20:33Red zone, you go do you.
20:35First and second down, get down.
20:37Yeah, those hits just take a toll on these mobile running quarterbacks.
20:42Whether it's a design run or just a scramble, you just don't have to.
20:47You've got to learn how to pick your times.
20:50Go for it on a critical fourth down, a critical third down conversion.
20:53Sure, go take that hit.
20:54But a simple first and second down scramble.
20:57Get as much as you can and get down.
21:00Tracy with some room in the first big play on the ground for the Giants today.
21:05Tyrone Tracy inside the 25.
21:08Prior to that play right there, they had nine carries from the running backs for six yards.
21:14Tracy right here gets 16.
21:17Just playing a little bit of a lighter box here.
21:20So just nice job by Tracy.
21:21Just figuring out where that backside opening is.
21:25The patience to hit it.
21:26You know, something we talked a lot about in the first half.
21:29You know, we said, wow, this is a very different look for Jackson Dart aligning under center.
21:33In the first half today, he has as many under center completions as he had in the previous six weeks combined.
21:40So clearly emphasized.
21:42He's got it right here.
21:43And he's got another touchdown.
21:46Jackson Dart from 24 yards.
21:48His second rushing touchdown of the day.
21:52And the Giants find the end zone right out of the break.
21:57That's why teams typically want to possess the ball back-to-back.
22:02Here's actually the read guy.
22:03This is Bash.
22:05They're going to pull.
22:06Right guard, right tackle.
22:07And then he's simply reading the end.
22:09If he squeezes and stays wide, he turns into quarterback counter.
22:13And it just really turns into a numbers game.
22:15And he's not touched.
22:17That's the second time now Jackson Dart has run in for a red zone touchdown where he's not contacted before the goal.
22:24Too easy for Dart, who's got his seventh rushing touchdown, which leads all quarterbacks since he took over the job at the end of September.
22:35Oh, he's got to go with his arm.
22:37He's over 200 yards, but he's got two rushing touchdowns, showing off the full set of skills.
22:42And the Giants with a two-score lead over the Bears.
22:44Out of Roy, you look like a swaggered-out stud with a headband and the hair.
22:54Jackson Dart with his second rushing touchdown of the day, his seventh over his first seven starts.
23:01Giants with a ten-point lead.
23:03And a new kickoff guy, Jamie Gillen.
23:06Two bad kicks today, one out of bounds, one shy of the landing zone.
23:09And so Youngway Koo takes over and drops it right down there perfectly.
23:12Here comes Duvernay.
23:13All right, Devin Duvernay, hit of the 25 by Dane Belton.
23:20So the Bears go back on offense.
23:22And Caleb Williams, who was okay in that first half, outplayed, though, by Jackson Dart, 17-7.
23:28And look, the Bears' offense has been pretty reliable throughout the year.
23:31The defense has given up yards against everybody.
23:34They've just overcome it with the takeaways.
23:36You look at the wins for the Bears' defense, they have 18 takeaways.
23:41In the three losses, they have just one.
23:43Don't have a takeaway in this game yet.
23:46I think this second half now, I think Ben Johnson has to turn it up a little bit, hunt those explosive plays in the passing game.
23:52Right now, your defense is reeling a little bit, having a hard time stopping New York.
23:57Heard it off Manunga.
23:59Manunga, after the huge game last week, touchdown in the first half today, four or five yards on the first play of this drive.
24:08You know, a guy that we haven't talked a lot about today, but he's the player of the week last week.
24:13Colson Loveland, first-round tight end.
24:16I think he has a chance to be special.
24:18I mean, he's got some qualities and some traits that are just hard to have as a young tight end.
24:23His ability to get downfield haven't really gotten him involved much today.
24:27He's on the sideline here on this second down.
24:30See, DJ Moore is in.
24:32He was questionable with his shoulder.
24:35Second down and five.
24:36Another run.
24:37Manunga broke the first tackle, but not the second.
24:39Demetrius Flanagan fouls was another player that was questionable to return in this game.
24:44Dealing with a pec injury, but he drops him at the line of scrimmage, and it's third and five.
24:50Take a look in the backfield, though.
24:51Just didn't look like a clean handoff.
24:55Watch.
24:55Manunga kind of runs into the side of Caleb Williams, and I just think it threw off the path of the back.
25:02It didn't really match the run scheme of the line.
25:05And I think that was just kind of out of sorts from the jump, and it'll be a third and pass situation here.
25:13Third down and four.
25:15Williams, pressure, got away from Burns.
25:19Caleb Williams gets away from Thibodeau.
25:21First down, Chicago.
25:23Couple shots to drop him for a sack.
25:26Instead, he converts.
25:28Yeah, just running away from first-round pick after first-round pick.
25:32And Ben Johnson was very honest with us.
25:34He said, listen, in years past, I always wanted to be in the perfect call,
25:38but here I kind of find myself saying, I got a quarterback that can bail me out of, you know,
25:43a bad protection call, or I don't have anybody schemed open on the back end.
25:46And that's a great example of nowhere to go with the ball, escape early pressure,
25:52and keep the drive alive.
25:53Victim and none guy, Williams.
25:55Downfield, incomplete.
25:57Moore the intended receiver.
25:58Javon Holland was closer to that ball, ultimately, than Moore was.
26:01I don't know if they get back today after he missed a couple games with the knee issue.
26:09This Giants defense banged up, especially in the secondary.
26:12The last two games, no Holland, no Adebo.
26:16Linebackers have gotten hurt as well.
26:18Credit to this defense, though.
26:19100 points allowed the last two games in a quarter.
26:22When you go back to that disastrous fourth against Denver,
26:25but against an offense, it's coming off 47 points last week, only seven allowed.
26:33Second and ten.
26:36Quick throw.
26:37There's Loveland, his first target, and his first catch.
26:40He's got five.
26:42After his breakout game last week, finished off with a game-winning touchdown
26:45from 58 yards in the closing seconds.
26:48Yeah, and you know, what I love about the way they use the tight end
26:52here in this Ben Johnson offense in Chicago is
26:55their willingness to send them down the field.
26:58You know, you look around the league, there's a lot of guys with high-volume targets,
27:01high-volume receptions, but it's a lot of underneath stuff.
27:05The two deepest average yards of depth of target in the entire league
27:09are Cole Komet and Colston Lovner.
27:10And, like, they are going to push their tight ends vertical downfield,
27:14and it's just such a big weapon.
27:17Four of the five targets down to the near side of the field,
27:20and a throw for Zaccheaus is incomplete.
27:22They had a couple today that he's gotten his hands on but hasn't pulled in.
27:28Yeah, that's a great ball.
27:30I mean, that's now the second time that Caleb Williams has been on the money.
27:34That time he's clearly passed the first down marker,
27:37and just a little frustration there.
27:41But after bailing him out on the previous third down,
27:44he makes another really accurate ball,
27:46and this Bears offense just can't really find their way right now
27:50to sustain these drives.
27:52Zaccheaus, the guy normally so reliable,
27:55a couple drops today and a punt from Taylor.
27:57Oshesky back to return it.
28:00Over his head, bounces into the end zone,
28:02and a touchback, second one today that Taylor has hit a little bit too long.
28:07And themselves, they've earned it with a five-and-three start.
28:12But down ten here, big possession for the Bears defense.
28:19Dart and the Giants take over.
28:21Tracy straight ahead, tripped up at the line of scrimmage.
28:23Has not been much for the running backs, the traditional ground game,
28:27but Dart has broken a couple big runs,
28:28and he's thrown for more than 200.
28:302-0-5, and again, clean football.
28:38Sometimes you'll see a rookie quarterback.
28:40He's talented.
28:41He has the splash plays, the flashiness,
28:43but mistakes that you live with.
28:45Well, he's played really clean, too.
28:48Won one turnover the last four games for the Giants.
28:51In rhythm, finds Robinson, breaks a tackle, and gets 17 yards.
28:57And over these last couple games, Robinson's really been his go-to target,
29:02one of the most productive receivers in the entire league,
29:04operating out of the slot.
29:07That's exactly where he is here, and you mentioned Slayton.
29:10You heard Pam update us on him earlier in the half.
29:14He's got the hamstring, haven't seen him back out there,
29:17but he's going to continue to look to Robinson in the pass game.
29:20Off-play action, Dart to throw again.
29:23He will toss this one to the sideline and incomplete.
29:27Wando Robinson, a guy you don't hear a ton about,
29:29especially when Neighbors is healthy, flies under the radar,
29:32but you said it, among slot receivers,
29:34he's been the most productive guy in the NFL.
29:37Quarterbacks love him, real quarterback-friendly target,
29:40third down, short yardage, he's always there.
29:42Brian D'Abel said he doesn't get enough credit for how smart he is,
29:46like another quarterback out there.
29:47He helps guys get lined up out of receiver, he knows so much.
29:52And in his fourth year out of Kentucky.
30:00Second and ten.
30:04Robinson.
30:05This time the coverage from Stevenson, third and ten.
30:08That's great.
30:09Really good ball skills there by Stevenson,
30:12hands through hands without holding, grabbing.
30:17Really well-timed.
30:18And now Chicago gets to do what this defense does best.
30:23They are a fantastic third and pass, third and long.
30:27Even though that pass rush is not where they want it to be,
30:32the scheme of Dennis Allen in these situations
30:35has been as good as any unit in the entire league all season long.
30:38So far today, Giants have gotten the better of them.
30:41Four for eight on third down.
30:45Showing pressure and bringing it.
30:47Quick throw, Robinson going to have to run a ways for it.
30:50Got close and bumped out by Bayard.
30:52Really close.
30:58It's the second time now in these third and real longs.
31:01We saw one in the first half on third and long,
31:04and they went quarterback design run.
31:06But look how much space there is for Sewell and Jermaine Edmonds
31:09to get out there to Robinson.
31:11They're starting mugged up inside on the line of scrimmage,
31:15and it's just a long way for them to chase down Robinson to the flat.
31:21Here we go.
31:21Another fourth down try, and they'll do it out of...
31:24No, he was out of the gun.
31:25Steps under center.
31:27Looking for their first conversion today.
31:29It's a naked boot and wide open space for Jackson Dart.
31:34Nine yards, and they pick up a first down on fourth down
31:37for the first time today.
31:39And it's a great, first of all, great play design.
31:42Watch the right guard, Greg Van Roten.
31:44He's going to slice out the legs here of Joe Troy on Shoyanka.
31:51That's exactly what Dart needed to get around the edge.
31:54Good execution by Dart, and a great block there by Van Roten.
32:00Your guy, right?
32:01That's my guy, man.
32:01He's one of the best dudes I've ever played with.
32:04Greg Van Roten, the right guard.
32:06Here's the dump-off, Singletary.
32:07He's got room to run.
32:09Devin Singletary to the 35 for nine more.
32:12Yeah, it goes back, though, to that third and long.
32:15I understand that's the scheme, the all-up,
32:18and then you don't know who's pressuring and then who's dropping,
32:21but you sell out so much when there's everybody up at the line of scrimmage.
32:26He made that a fourth-down decision, and instead of forcing a punt, the Giants are able to convert now and maintain possession.
32:36Second and short, Singletary on the ground this time, sneaks his way through for a first down.
32:41They're doing whatever they want right now.
32:45Who's going to come up with that big play for the Bears defense?
32:47They have had them all season long with the 19 takeaways to lead the league.
32:52When they haven't had them, they haven't won.
32:54It feels like here in the second half, that's what the game could turn on.
32:59It feels like this Bears team can opportunistic lead the league in interceptions, lead it in just pure takeaways.
33:07It feels like they're going to need one here in the second half to slow this thing down.
33:12Ninth play of the drive, it is Slayton, tackle by Stevenson.
33:17Good to see Slayton back in the game after the big first half,
33:20and then got a hamstring that he was bothered by.
33:24Back in there, he's got his fourth catch.
33:27That's a good sign if you're a Giants fan, but take a look at some of the young talent.
33:34Of course, some of it's on the IR with Malik Neighbors and Kam Skadaboo,
33:38and we talked a lot about Robinson and, of course, Dart,
33:40so that's where the optimism and the hope comes from around the Giants organization.
33:47The question is, can they win enough now to make the wait worth it?
33:50Dart looking to find room himself again.
33:53Blockers in front, Jackson Dart inside the 20.
33:56The ball is out, and there it is.
33:59The Bears come up with a takeaway.
34:01The world in the field is a fumble recovered by the defense.
34:05First down, Chicago.
34:06It's the Sean Wright with a fumble recovery.
34:09Jackson Dart puts it on the ground, and Chicago gets the takeaway it desperately needed.
34:15And it was C.J. Gardner-Johnson in just his second game in Chicago.
34:20He's only been here a few days, but making plays all over the place.
34:25Once I never could have hoped to win,
34:28just stopping down the road to leave.
34:29And they especially love him right here.
34:32Forces the fumble.
34:33Has the ball back with the Bears from the 16.
34:37Down 10 as they start the drive with the play-action pass.
34:40And over the middle, DeAndre Swift.
34:42Got a block.
34:43Spun his way for a first down.
34:45And we look back at the takeaway from Chicago.
34:47Yeah, another quarterback-designed run, and you can see Jackson Dart,
34:51he just doesn't even see C.J. Gardner-Johnson come in,
34:55puts the contact right on the ball side.
34:58And I think initially Jackson Dart caught the bobble
35:03and then lost it going to the ground.
35:06But I kind of had a feeling that was what the defense in Chicago needed,
35:11and that's really what they've relied on all season long.
35:14The other part of that has been great at taking advantage of the turnovers.
35:17Getting points off it.
35:18Here's Swift again.
35:20Surge up the middle.
35:21First down.
35:2211 through the air, then 11 on the ground for DeAndre Swift.
35:34Now this Bears offense, they've got to keep.
35:37Building on some of this little energy now that you can feel in the stadium,
35:40the turnover can spark you.
35:41Nice job there by Colson Loveland on Abdul Carter.
35:45And I've really liked the way DeAndre Swift has run.
35:49You mentioned he missed last week's game, but he looks fresh, he looks healthy,
35:54and probably been one of the better offensive weapons so far today for Chicago.
36:00He's been dealing with that groin injury for a lot of the year,
36:02and they said, look, we're going to give you the week off, rejuvenate you.
36:05Carter can't get Williams, keeps it alive, and then Carter winds up getting there
36:10and sacking him, his first full sack in the NFL.
36:14There are flags in the secondary, though.
36:18Williams a little bit slow getting up.
36:21I think this is going to be on the Giants.
36:24Illegal contact defense, number two, five-yard penalty, automatic first sack.
36:29And Carter's saying, man, I finally get a sack and it gets wiped away.
36:32You know, it's pretty incredible.
36:34When you look, you know, he's got the half a sack, so this one obviously is not going to count.
36:38Deontay Banks, he's number two.
36:40That's what they called the penalty on.
36:44But, you know, it's funny.
36:46When you look at the guys that generate pressure at the highest rate,
36:49Abdul Carter is, like, at the top of the league as far as just generating pressure on the quarterback.
36:55He's just having a hard time converting those pressures into sacks.
37:00Half a sack in his NFL debut, week one.
37:03Does not have one since.
37:05Outside, Luther Burden lowers the shoulder and takes Cordell flat for a ride.
37:10Yeah, and he's close to a first down.
37:12The rookie out of Missouri.
37:14Yeah, time for a game break.
37:16Here's Carissa.
37:17Thank you so much, Joe.
37:17Baltimore with four field goals on the day.
37:19Finally getting the end zone.
37:20Justice Hill takes this one in.
37:22Baltimore on top.
37:2319-10 over the Vikings.
37:25Joe?
37:27All right, Carissa.
37:28And keep an eye on Caleb Williams here, who was banged up on that sack from Carter.
37:33He got to his feet slowly.
37:35He's been limping around a little bit.
37:38Two and a half to go in this third quarter.
37:40Second and one.
37:48Fake to Swift.
37:50Williams lofts one.
37:51He's got Loveland.
37:53Colston Loveland to the 30.
37:55And again a 19.
37:58Well, here we go.
38:02Rundown, second and short.
38:04They go big.
38:06Jumbo, get a lot of big bodies there.
38:08And just look how much time Caleb Williams has.
38:10It's max protection.
38:12And Colston Loveland runs what they call a sail route.
38:15He's wide open.
38:17And nice touch pass.
38:18Now, there's going to be a break in the action here.
38:20The Giants are now looking at one of their defensive linemen down on a knee right around midfield.
38:28Bad weather day like this.
38:30You wonder about some of the guys from the warm weather states.
38:33You don't worry about Colston Loveland, who's out of Bliss, Idaho.
38:36And that's Nunez Rochas that was the injured player.
38:41Gets to his feet under his own power.
38:42From Bliss, Idaho, to the University of Michigan.
38:46Loveland, the 10th overall pick.
38:48Doubled his season totals last week with 118 yards in his first two touchdowns.
38:53And that was a big game.
38:54Biggest game of his career even before the game-winning score to finish it.
38:59A lot of people were surprised the Bears went tight end that high in the draft.
39:02You can never go high enough.
39:03No, that's true.
39:04You can never go tight end high enough, Joe.
39:08Then he started thinking, though, about Ben Johnson, what he had with Sam Laporta in Detroit.
39:12And it's like, oh, yeah, you can envision what he's thinking.
39:16I think he's really talented.
39:18Play action on first down.
39:19Burns with the pressure.
39:20Williams steps up.
39:21Once Oduzze couldn't get it.
39:23Flag down as Banks was covering Oduzze.
39:26Yeah, they're going to get Banks.
39:27This time, I think it's going to be defensive pass interference,
39:31which will put the ball right around the 10-yard line.
39:36Banks' interference, defense, number two.
39:38Ball will be placed at the crowd of foul.
39:40Automatic first down.
39:42There you see the contact right there.
39:44A really nice route by Roma Dunze.
39:46It called a shake seven.
39:47You try to stick that outside foot like you're going to run a post,
39:50and then you take it back to the corner.
39:52And Banks just runs into him, and the contact while the ball is in the air,
39:58and it's going to be first and goal.
40:01Six penalties on the Giants.
40:03Just want to look like the Giants are going down there
40:05to take potentially a three-score lead.
40:07The Bears get the takeaway.
40:08They've taken advantage of a couple penalties
40:10and have it first and goal.
40:15High snap.
40:16Williams corrals.
40:18Cole Komet goes down to get it.
40:20Around the five.
40:22Never draft tight ends too high.
40:24Never distribute to too many of them.
40:26Yeah, they've got two good ones, and, you know, I think when Cole Komet found out,
40:31they took Coulson Loveland at the first round.
40:34I think he had a lot of questions, you know, about his future in Chicago.
40:38They had paid him to kind of be the man here,
40:41but I think with Ben Johnson's ability to utilize both tight ends,
40:45it's going to continue to be a big part of this offense going forward.
40:49Komet, the longest-tenured guy in his sixth season out of Notre Dame.
40:52Here's Swift on second and goal.
40:54Tripped up by Thibodeau.
40:56And it'll be third and goal from inside the five.
40:59Thibodeau, one of the investments on this defensive line,
41:03the fifth overall pick three years back.
41:05Of course, everything colored by that,
41:08the expectations that come with that,
41:10but he's been a solid player for him.
41:14Let's see what the Bears go with here on third and goal
41:16inside of a minute in this third quarter.
41:18Down 10.
41:23Monunga replaces Swift.
41:30Fade.
41:30Oduunze with Banks in coverage, no flag.
41:35Fourth down and goal from the four.
41:37Yeah, it's the second time, though,
41:39since it was first and goal in the 10,
41:42first down and third down.
41:44Caleb Williams had to catch the snap with one hand.
41:48Drew Dahlman, the big free agent, signing this past offseason from Atlanta,
41:53and it just kind of throws off the timing.
41:56Instead of being able to hand that ball off,
41:58he has to go to the pass alert.
42:01Doesn't really look like Roma Dunze was expecting the ball
42:03and really got no choice here on fourth and goal
42:08but to try to at least get three and make this a one-score game.
42:12Giants, not a good red zone defense,
42:14but here they stand up inside the 10
42:16and hold the Bears to a field goal.
42:18Chicago takes advantage of the takeaway,
42:20gets three,
42:21back to within a touchdown
42:22late in the third quarter in Chicago.
42:24Specific on Fox.
42:31Back at Soldier Field.
42:3317-10, the Giants ahead of the Bears.
42:38Bears getting their first point
42:39since five-minute mark of the first quarter
42:41to get back within a touchdown.
42:48Santos with a wind swirling.
42:50Snowfall and temperature down in the low 30s.
42:53Down to the sideline
42:54and off of the pylon.
42:56That close
42:57to being at the 40-yard line.
43:00Wow.
43:02Nice.
43:02It's a 20-yard difference.
43:04Nice.
43:05The Jackson dart of this Giants offense
43:07goes back to the field.
43:08You're talking about the way they've used him
43:10in design runs more aggressively
43:11than any team has with their quarterback this year
43:14and to great effect today.
43:15Yeah.
43:16Both his touchdowns are, in essence,
43:17the exact same play.
43:18It's quarterback counter.
43:20You pull the guard.
43:21You pull a backside puller.
43:22The first one was off of fake toss.
43:24This one they call bash.
43:26It's a very common play in high school and college.
43:29You don't see a lot of NFL quarterbacks run it
43:32for obvious reasons,
43:33but when you have a guy that's young and he's tough,
43:36you want to get these carries out of him
43:38earlier in his career.
43:40He said, look, I know that I probably should go down,
43:46but I just, that's not how I do it.
43:47Yeah, well, he says that now.
43:49Yeah.
43:49Well, we'll give him a couple years.
43:51I mean, he's young, he's energetic, he's healthy.
