00:42Andy Beshear said the number of deaths has risen to 9, with the number expected to rise by at least 1.
00:48There have been over 200 first responders that were on the scene last night and there is a
00:51significant amount of resources in the search and rescue and, ultimately, what is by now the
00:56recovery effort that is occurring, Beshear said. Beshear said by the afternoon, he believes they
01:01will have a good grasp on the number of fatalities and number of missing persons.
01:05The governor also declared a state of emergency to allow the state to move resources quickly to be used,
01:11including the National Guard and other disaster resources and expenses related to response and
01:15reimbursement. He also launched the Team Kentucky Emergency Relief Fund, with every dollar being
01:20donated to those impacted, for funerals, response, recovery and rebuilding.
01:25It's going to help to make sure groups that are already limited in terms of their funding can get
01:29some immediate or short-term help, Beshear said. Beshear said 16 different families have reported
01:35loved ones unaccounted for. A significant search and rescue mission has continued Wednesday morning.
01:41Two buildings were however seriously impacted by the crash.

02:36contact their airline for a status on their flight, with many being impacted by the crash.
02:41The airport says delays and cancellations are still likely, with 21 flights canceled Tuesday and 16
02:47canceled Wednesday. Dozens of agencies have responded to the scene of the crash, including numerous
02:52police departments, fire departments, the Kentucky National Guard and Louisville EMA. The FAA and
02:59NTSB are on scene investigating and will provide updates as they come in, officials said.
