00:00And that this was a commercial airplane that had an accident down here.

00:05And you can see that he went well beyond the airport down into this industrial area.

00:11What is just hard to get my arms around is the amount of smoke and black,

00:17black smoke and the flames that are down there,

00:21which most obviously is Jet A, is the fuel that would have been in this plane that crashed.

00:28But you can see that this major fire, it's caused these other buildings on fire down here.

00:36So this was a very tragic scene.

00:40And we're going to stay over this for quite some time back to you guys.

00:44Yeah, just to give you an idea, the airport is completely shut down for commercial aviation right now.

01:04But just to give you an idea, just to the right is Scott Eckhart running the camera here in the back.

01:10If he pulls out a little bit, I think most people are familiar with the landfill,

01:14which is going to be just to the right of us.

01:17And then you can see back to the left, which would be north of us,

01:21would be the runway that this commercial airplane would have been either landing or taking off from.

01:29I'm not sure which he would have been doing at this point.

01:32But nonetheless, he is, the aftermath of this accident is lined up exactly with that runway.

01:40But just the massive amount of flames and black smoke is just incredible at this point, Rick.

05:04Oh, the power just went out down here at the airport.

06:11Now, Rick, this area where this plane is is south of Great Lane, where there's a whole

06:26bunch of salvage yards and industrial warehouses that's in this area.

06:32You know, you hate to speculate on what was going on here, but this is the hour of the

06:39day where UPS has their huge, one of their many huge departures.

06:45And as I look at the north end of the runway where the planes would be lining up, there's

06:50several, close to 10 UPS planes that are just holding in place because they have shut down

06:57the airport.

06:58So, as much flames as we're seeing and as much black smoke.
