Crowds lined the streets of Farnham on Sunday, November 9, as the town came together for its annual Remembrance parade and service. The parade assembled in Castle Street from 10am before setting off at 10.25am for the war memorial at Gostrey Meadow, where the service began at 10.45am. At 11am, the town joined in the traditional two-minute silence, followed by the Last Post, readings and the laying of wreaths. After the service, the parade continued with a march past. Members of the armed forces, uniformed services, youth organisations and dignitaries took part, with the Mayor of Farnham, Councillor George Murray, HH Christopher Critchlow DL and visiting guests taking the salute outside the Town Hall on South Street. The Remembrance Parade and Service were organised by Farnham Town Council in collaboration with the Royal British Legion (Farnham).
