00:00Kazakhstan has officially pledged to join the Abraham Accords, a series of U.S. brokered
00:04agreements to normalize diplomatic relations between Israel and Arab nations.
00:09During the C5 plus 1 summit in Washington, U.S. President Donald Trump secured President
00:13Qasem Jomar Tokayev's commitment in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
00:20The U.S. also finalized a deal granting an American firm rights to develop Kazakhstan's
00:24critical minerals deposits.
00:27President Tokayev expressed support for U.S. peace initiatives, including an infrastructure
00:31corridor connecting mainland Azerbaijan with Nahchivan.
00:36This route will link to the Trans-Caspian Corridor, which connects trade between China and Europe
00:41while bypassing Russia.
00:43The U.S. and Kazakhstan also signed over $17 billion in new agreements across mineral resources,
00:48digital technologies and aviation.
