00:00Yo guys, you can't believe it! Today is, I believe, the most important day in the history of the Hakunami Park Oasis.
00:14So I have the double cap and the single cap in here.
00:17You guys know about the Live Wild area, it is ready, it is approved,
00:21and we're finally gonna move the very first two lines of the Hakunami Park Opright into the Live Wild area today.
00:28I think it's the biggest milestone we are setting now.
00:31I'm pretty nervous, to be honest, but I'm super excited about it as well.
00:35Follow me along the way and it's gonna be an exciting and incredible journey.
00:53Hey guys!
00:58The world knows me and Hakunami Park Opright for the educational and inspirational animal content.
01:06For example, the videos with JJ and Momo, Chucky the Hyena, with the Cheetah Brothers,
01:14and, of course, the entire Hakunami Park Opright line.
01:29But what most of you people don't know is that for the past four years,
01:34I've been busy with an incredible, challenging, long-term project called the Live Wild area.
01:41We are talking here about a two million square meter wild area on the Hakunami Park Opright property.
01:48Having this achieved, the only remaining big challenge was the movement of the lines into the Live Wild area.
01:55Because even though this area is still on the Hakunami Park Opright property,
01:58it is a very rocky and challenging path up there.
02:03Now, the lines, they have never been sedated for such a long time before.
02:07So, as you guys can imagine, such events can always bring a lot of risks and dangerous moments with it.
02:13This is also the reason why we had a huge film crew on site here on the Oasis.
02:18Because next to all of this, some of you might know this already,
02:20we are shooting the biopic of my life.
02:24And since this movement is one of the most important happenings and moments in my life,
02:29we wanted to make sure to be able to capture every single second of it.
02:33And this is also the reason why we are very limited in what we can actually show of the entire movement.
02:40Because we're not allowed to spoil the biopic.
02:42Alright, now let me explain you how the entire procedure of the movement took place.
02:46Now, first of all, Noe and I stayed at the main house.
02:50Because as you guys might know from previous videos and events,
02:53when the vet comes out to dart the lions, we don't want to be associated with the vet.
02:57So, we stay in order to not harm our relationship with the lions.
03:01And so, we stay at the main house.
03:03This made me a bit nervous, to be honest.
03:06Because whatever could have gone wrong, I wasn't there at the time.
03:10So, I would stay at the radio at all times.
03:13And just hope that Andy gives me some positive feedback on what's going on there.
03:19Alright, so the vet just darted Dexter and Snow.
03:22Everything went very well.
03:23The first big challenge actually is over.
03:27Because we were just a bit scared that one lion got darted, falls asleep.
03:32And the other one is still awake and running around.
03:34Because that could have caused some issue.
03:35This was not the case.
03:36They are both now laying under a tree, according to Andy's information.
03:40And they are busy falling asleep.
03:42So, hold on.
03:46As soon as they fell asleep and were fully sedated,
03:49we could enter the camp and do all the essential things.
03:52Oh boy.
04:02Okay, I guess he's asleep.
04:05I think he's good as well.
04:06I think he's a good boy.
04:07I think he's a good boy.
04:11I think he's good as well.
04:30That was also the moment we used to take close-ups of all their attributes.
04:34All right, we are now doing the close-ups of all the attributes a lion has.
04:41Speaking about claws, speaking about teeth, speaking about spiky tongue.
04:46To just create the connection to our actual mission of inspiring and educating people about this beautiful species.
04:54And on the other side, with the whole vet team, we had to put them on a drip.
04:58We had to remove the darts and just prepare them nicely in order to be able to transport them to the live wild area.
05:05So, once they were loaded onto the truck, we had a huge bumpy and challenging and very steep road ahead of us.
05:18So, we had to really go very slow in order to not harm the animals, but also not get stuck somewhere.
05:36All right, we just arrived in the management camp of the live wild and going to drop the first line off, which is going to be snow.
05:44We dropped the lions.
05:46And before we gave them the reverse truck, I decided spontaneously to allow all the workers to quickly put their hands onto the lion.
05:53Maybe touch their paws, touch their claws, to get a feeling for what that animal is.
06:00I mean, they see them every day.
06:02They cannot interact with them because the lions are pretty much wild.
06:06The only ones interacting with them is myself and Noe.
06:09But still, the workers, they feed them.
06:12They make sure the camps are clean.
06:14They make sure the fencing is good.
06:15And, you know, everyone associated and working in the Hakunami Park Oasis does it for the animals.
06:22So, I felt like that's the moment they need to be inspired and drawn into that beautiful, inspiring, amazing and overwhelming energy of lions.
06:33All right. So, at the same time, we're going to vaccinate them now and give them something against ticks.
06:38And, yeah, that's what we're basically doing now.
06:41Slow, huh?
06:43Three, two, one.
06:45Go.
06:47Keep rolling.
06:48Up, up, up.
06:50Yes.
06:52Good job.
06:53And now all the way to the other side.
06:54Come out there.
06:56Yep.
07:01Good job.
07:04All right. We just dropped snow.
07:05We reversed the drug.
07:06It's going to take him a while until he's going to wake up.
07:08And meanwhile, we're going to sort out Dexter.
07:39Four years ago, I decided to dedicate this area entirely to the lion pride in order for them to be able to live a life as wild as possible, even though they are born in captivity.
07:55Today, four years later, out of the two million, we successfully managed to enclose over 600,000 square meters with lion-proof fencing.
08:14Now, some of you might ask yourself now, why only enclosing 600,000 square meters and not the entire two million square meters?
08:23Well, guys, let me tell you, this is a hell lot of work.
08:27And the labor and material costs in order to be able to invent such a huge area are insane.
08:39So due to the pandemic, the donations haven't been coming in really well over the past two years.
08:45And as you might know, I'm also not really phenomenal at asking for money on my socials at all times.
08:52So what we did, obviously, we used the resources and the manpower we had during those four years.
08:58And that just allowed us to do the 600,000 out of the two million.
09:03But as I said before, if we manage to get more donations in and create additional income sources, we'll gladly extend it.
09:10So if you feel like supporting the Hakunami Park Oasis or helping us to extend the Live Wild area, myself, the entire Lion Pride and all the other animals here on the Hakunami Park Oasis will be incredibly thankful for a little donation.
09:26And then the moment of the day when both of them were fully awake again, fully active and operational, and we took the first walk through that literal wild with them.
09:39So, honestly, guys, I think that was...
09:51Yeah, that was amazing.
10:09You know, after such a long period of time, you know, raising them, creating that family, you know, establishing that bond, seeing them in a beautiful natural camp, but ultimately being able to give them true freedom.
10:27And in the beginning, I was a bit scared, you know, sometimes they get sketchy, they hide between a tree, they want to jump on you, they want to try you, they want to dominate you.
10:38That's what happens all the time. And I'm documenting as well, all of that on my social media.
10:42But this time when we exited and when we entered that basically the Live Wild area, it was insane. We moved like a brotherhood, like a group, like a family.
10:55The ones Dexter took over the lead, then I took over the lead and there was no vibe of I want to dominate you or I want to jump on you or no sketchy things.
11:05It was so beautiful. And I think I've never felt that feeling before. And I spoke to Noah as well. He felt the same way. And yeah, that was really beautiful.
11:15That was really beautiful.
11:45That was really beautiful.
11:47That was really beautiful.
11:51Yes, it was beautiful.
11:55I've never felt like I was like I was finished.
11:57And I've never felt the same way.
12:01I thought I was very beautiful.
12:04I thought I was one of my friends and dad don't be a good one of my friends.
12:07I thought I was very beautiful.
13:11I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
