00:00I look at this as a really crucial stretch leading into Thanksgiving
00:03because we talked about it, we touched on it a little bit the other night.
00:08So this is game two of five in a row against your division.
00:12And because the division is so tight, you know, you can really make some,
00:16you know, hey, in the next week, you've got Toronto back-to-back today
00:21and Tuesday, and then you've got Ottawa-Montreal next week.
00:25This is kind of a critical stretch, I think, for the Bruins
00:28because, and then add on that, you've got seven of nine on the road starting tonight.
00:34And the road hasn't been all that kind of the Bruins.
00:37I know they won last game against the Islanders, which was a big one for them.
00:39But, you know, they've done well at home.
00:43What are they, seven and three at home?
00:44But now they have to play seven of nine on the road.
00:48And that leads right into Thanksgiving.
00:50So coming up to Thanksgiving, you're going to have 25 games played.
00:53They've played as many, if not more, games than anybody in the NHL.
00:56So their schedule's been tough.
00:57They still have to go out west.
00:58Just before Thanksgiving to play, you know, the California teams
01:03to hit the Islanders on the way back.
01:05So I think a real critical stretch for the Bruins right now,
01:08not just because of the division, but because of the seven and nine on the road.
01:12And this is where, if they're going to, you know, be contenders,
01:17at least, you know, for a playoff spot,
01:19they need to be in contention come Thanksgiving.
01:21And the condensed schedule and everything else, they've, like I said,
01:27they've played as many, if not more, than any team in the league right now, game-wise.
01:32So they've had a tough schedule, and they've fared well.
01:35And they need to continue to play with that formula if they're going to stay in contention here
01:40over the next couple of weeks.
01:41Yeah, and, you know, it's, I didn't realize that seven of the next nine are on the road.
01:46So I love you going down that direction.
01:48And five in a row against divisional teams.
01:49And five in a row, starting, you know, against Ottawa the other day.
01:53But you've got, it's all divisional teams.
01:55And if you're going to make up ground, and you're going to stay in contention in the division,
01:59I mean, Toronto's playing well right now.
02:01You've got them back-to-back.
02:02So, you know, these are teams that you need to get points against,
02:06and hopefully wins against, but definitely points against.
02:09And they did the job the other day against the Senators,
02:11and now they need to continue it against a good Leafs team.
