00:00The Boston Bruins are very lucky to be where they are right now, not in the standings.

00:07Forget about that for a minute. They're lucky to be where they are in terms of their organization.

00:14And I say that, Ryan, because you look at where they were a year ago, this was sort of the start

00:20of them falling apart, right? They had a good little run under Joe Sacco, and then reality

00:24kind of smacked him upside the head. Next thing you know, oh shoot, you're trading off all

00:30these pieces and you're rebuilding. Now, that said, you had an awesome quick little mini

00:37rebuild here where every trade you made, in my opinion, was a good trade. I know people

00:42can quibble over the Marchand trade. You should have gotten more. Yeah, I agree. However, I'm

00:48okay making that move because we've talked about it on the show, I think, before, but as

00:52long as you had Brad Marchand, you were married to the idea of one more for Brad. You couldn't

00:57reset the way you needed to reset as an organization. Now, that said, you basically sucked for two

01:03months, and you got James Higgins, you got a couple of second round picks, you restocked

01:08the pipeline with guys like Will Zellers, who looks good at UND, and you got more picks. But

01:15the only way, Ryan, to properly rebuild this franchise is to keep almost all those picks.

01:22Now, you want to move one? Sure. The one I most want to move is the Florida one. I think

01:26that's the one that's going to be the lowest first round draft pick. I don't think Florida

01:30is going to be this bad as they've been next year. I think they are proven to be a legitimate

01:35Stanley Cup contender, especially when they have Alexander Barkoff and Matt Kachuk, both of

01:39whom should be back in their lineup next season when you have that first round pick. But

01:44you've got to start making some of these picks. You can't keep trading them for quick

01:49help. And if you're in the Sherwood market and that guy's going to fetch a first, I'm

01:54good.
