00:06Johnny Bananas Devinancio is clearing the air on having to back out of what he's describing as

00:11fire fest on the water. MTV star Devinancio cancelled a Challenge-themed cruise after

00:18learning from a former participant about payment issues with the organizer,

00:22Showroom Travel Agency. At that point, Devinancio claims he and Challenge co-star Mark Long

00:28approached Gibson with their concerns. We said, listen dude, we heard some things were a little

00:34bit questionable on the first cruise. Devinancio explains, we want to run this with the utmost

00:39amount of professionalism and we can't have you acting like that. This is a reflection on us as

00:45well. Devinancio noticed red flags with the cruise, unbooked accommodations and delayed payment and

00:52was told organizer Gibson, recovering from a car accident, couldn't communicate. As somebody who's

00:58been around the block and knows a effing scam when I see one, if I'm owed a large sum of money and

01:03somebody that was supposed to pay me can't because they've been in an accident, red flag, he says.

01:09Devinancio warned his castmates that the cruise situation seemed like a Ponzi scheme,

01:13suspecting the organizer misused funds and was avoiding accountability. The cast began digging

01:18and found other claims lodged against Gibson. There was just insurmountable evidence that this guy

01:24was very shady, to say the least, Devinancio claims. Not paying employees, not paying some past

01:31cast members, and being completely unresponsive to us in the past week. Devinancio announced on

01:37Instagram he was withdrawing from the cruise, triggering widespread reactions, while Gibson

01:42acknowledged the situation in a statement. Gibson admitted he mismanaged funds across cruises,

01:48leaving him unable to pay all talent and took full responsibility as the sole owner of showroom

01:54travel. Devinancio informed fans about the cruise scam and is cooperating with Georgia authorities to

02:00help them seek compensation. I want no part of this operation, he adds. This is rotten to the core.
