Killer Mike's blood type is A positive for all things Atlanta, and he's all set to induct Outkast into the Rock Hall of Fame ... but he also wants to see one of his beloved Braves get their just due!!!

00:09Well, I'm going to sing and dance for them too, I hope.

00:11Oh my God, that's amazing.

00:13I'm very proud of them.

00:14Did they kind of help put you on in a way?

00:16Well, they did. They gave me my first record deal.

00:18Him and a woman who was at A&R named Regina Davenport,

00:21for the three people who first believed in me. I appreciate it.

00:23Where would you be without OutKast as an artist?

00:26Do you think you still would have made it?

00:28Yeah, I would have made it. I don't know if I would have made it with the integrity.

00:32OutKast didn't mess with your publishing. They didn't try funny trickery.

00:36They were honest and forthcoming from the beginning.

00:39So, there was a certain integrity that organized noise, rest in peace,

00:42the Rico Way gave them and they passed it on to me.

00:45Amazing. And like, a lot of people claim, you know, this induction is long overdue.

00:50Yeah, I think so. I mean, they're 50 years old and they're going on their first go-round.

00:54So, that's pretty dope.

00:56Now we got to get Dale Murphy in the Hall of Fame for baseball.

00:59If Atlanta does that, if we get OutKast and Dale Murphy in there, we've accomplished our goal.

01:07You're a real smart guy. I just want to know, where do you think the country will be in 10 years?

01:11It feels like everything is so up in the air.

01:14If people get active locally in terms of their politics and are pragmatic about who they vote for and support,

01:22versus just, I pick the team and my team has to win in a bloody battle, I think we'll be okay.

01:27If we keep moving in a way that's polarized and that is non-cooperative and collaborative, I don't think we'll do well.

01:33So, hopefully, Americans will realize that the power is in the people, not the other politicians.
