00:24Sehr, sehr anders.
00:26Ich meine, die Körper ist einfach.
00:29Super simple.
00:30So, think about that moment back in the days.
00:33Back in 1955.
00:3570 years ago.
00:37Wow!
00:38Such a throwback in the past.
00:42But the bike was something very different from what we saw today.
00:46I mean...
00:47I have the Y-A1 hier.
00:50Wow!
00:53The difference is huge.
00:55This bike was super important also.
00:57because at that time all the bikes were black.
01:00So it was something...
01:01I can go...
01:02Okay.
01:03They say me...
01:04Carolina, come closer to the bike.
01:05Guys, I'm gonna go that.
01:07Okay.
01:08Okay.
01:09So the thing that if you take a look, the first look at the time, the bike used to be all black.
01:17So, imagine.
01:19Try to imagine the atmosphere.
01:21Everything were black.
01:23And then they dropped the chestnut red.
01:28So this was something very, very different and attractive to the time.
01:35Something different.
01:36Placed to the market.
01:37And for that reason, this bike was popular as the Red Dragonfly.
01:42Love the name.
01:43Or surname.
01:44Whatever.
01:45I love that one.
01:46And it's really, you know, dark chestnut red.
01:52And the funny thing is that when they decided to put that on the market, the price was really high for that moment.
02:01You know, economic moments back in the 1955.
02:05But despite the high price, they, guys, listen, they sold in three years, 11,000 units of YA1.
02:18So, 11,000.
02:21Wow.
02:22So, if I think about the Yamastori, they just begin in the best way they could.
02:30You know what I mean?
02:31So, the right motorcycle for that moment.
02:34Different from the other that you saw in the market.
02:37On the market.
02:38And they got the chance to sell everything with that one.
02:43And this bike also was really successful, guys.
02:46Because these bikes won the third Mount Fuji Ascent Race in July 1955.
02:53So, the same year they dropped the bike.
02:55And then the same year won the race.
03:00Plus, sweeping the top three places in the ultralight class of the first Asama Highlands race later that year.
03:09So, it was both performance on track.
03:13But at the same time, you know, perfect with the comfort, perfect with the demand of that moment.
03:19Because they sold 11,000 of units in just three years.
03:24So, wow.
03:25It was amazing.
03:26And from that bike, they tried to build and they built throughout 70 years of story.
03:32Everything that you saw here and that you keep seeing here at the Yamastori stand here at ECMA.
03:38So, it's just amazing.
03:41And the funny thing is that everyone here at the stand, for sure, take a look to all the segments that we have in front of us.
03:50But everyone just came to take a look to this beautiful model.
03:56Because it was actually the starting of everything.
03:59So, it was...
04:00Yeah.
04:01It's really, really, really insane.
04:03But I mean, the shape is so, so different.
04:09The shape of the body, the frame, so different.
04:13But it was...
04:16It was just amazing.
04:18It was just amazing.
04:19Did you guys ever see that bike before?
04:24In real life, also in the pictures?
04:27Same way.
04:28Same way.
04:35Yeah.
04:36How many?
04:3711,000.
04:38Yes, it is.
04:39Yes, it is.
04:43Yeah.
04:44That bike looks like it came straight out of a movie.
04:47Yeah.
04:48Exactly.
04:49Yeah.
04:50Imagine like this bike in the movie.
04:53With the person riding.
04:56It's just amazing.
04:57And also the color, the combined color is amazing.
05:00The graphic is amazing.
05:02I love that color.
05:03And also I love this kind of, you know, I don't want to say brown, light brown, guys.
05:12Over here, over here, it's, you know, mixed perfectly with the chestnut red there.
05:18So it's such an amazing bike, this one.
05:21And it's so, it seems so easy to ride.
05:25I don't want to jump because I don't want to damage it.
05:28But it seems so easy.
05:31Really, really easy, like for everybody.
05:33It seems so easy.
05:34It's amazing.
05:35Yeah.
05:36Sometimes it's not easy when you have big bike because you, maybe you're not feel so comfortable
05:43on that.
05:44It's such an easy bike.
05:45So that's the reason why maybe also they sold so many units.
05:49That's for sure.
05:50Yeah.
05:51Wow.
05:52I saw it in Yamaha Museum in Japan.
05:53Wow.
05:54Jonathan, tell us a bit more about that.
05:55I've never been to Japan before.
05:56First point.
05:57But also to the museum of Yamaha.
05:58Tell us a bit more about that.
