00:00You know this notion that somehow, you know, being anti-business is going to
00:04help the average American citizen or even the lower paid. So I agree with the
00:08concept. I don't think we've done a particularly good job taking care of the
00:10bottom 20% of us are citizens. Their incomes didn't go up, their health care
00:15is worse, they live in more crime in neighborhoods, their schools don't work
00:17really well, and we did that. That's Democrat Republican policies by the way.
00:21So I agree with that concept. I don't agree with the concept that beating up
00:24business is a way to fix it. Business creates jobs, business pays people, business
00:28does. So I do think business can get involved and I, you know, I'm one of the,
00:37I may write an op-ed soon about good public policy is free. Okay. If we do a
00:43better job for schools, it's free. If we do some of this dereg, our regulatory system
00:48has gotten, I'm not talking about banks, by the way, any one of you would get
00:50involved in regulation. You could be a restaurant, you could be a small business.
00:54It is terrible. Federal, state, permitting, local. The affordable housing problem, it's
01:00all regulatory stuff. You can't build a multifamily thing. You can't put this here.
01:04It doesn't have enough parking. It's got to have all these things. It's all
01:08regulatory. And so we can fix this stuff and it's free. The government doesn't have
01:12to borrow more money to fix it. We already spend the money. We just need to fix the
01:16system a little bit. And so, and so we, we, I think we should all get involved in
01:20trying to fix these policies that would make our country work far better. And
01:24deregulation is part of it. If you don't believe me, go to Europe folks. Okay. And
01:28Europe used to have a GDP per person of 90% of America. It's now 65% of America.
01:35It's on its way to 50% of America, which will jeopardize the health of Europe itself
01:41over time. And it's all anti-business, anti-investment, anti-innovation, and they kind of know it.
01:49And if they don't fix it, and we should help them fix it because, you know, if Europe does
01:52badly, I think it's really bad for the Western world too. So, you know, I, so I'm very pro
01:56this, you know, I'm not, um, and we should do it wisely.
