Military Dad Returns Home To Hold Baby For First Time

This is the emotional moment a sailor who left for deployment just a month before his wife was due to give birth finally held his baby for the first time. Andrew, from Silverdale, Washington, serves in the U.S. Navy and was deployed right before wife Tayler’s due date with their baby boy, Drew. Tayler had to give birth on New Year’s Eve with their other boys, Brantley and Jax, by her side for support, and over the months that followed, Andrew couldn't wait to return to his growing family. Then, on February 25, that moment finally happened, at a cafe on base, the family was finally reunited with Andrew. As Tayler let Brantley and Jax first have their moment with their dad, with tears flowing, Andrew got to hold baby Drew for the first time, in a beautiful moment captured on video.
