00:00If I miss the next broadcast, you know where I am.
00:03I'm out there.
00:04I'm out there.
00:04I'm off Friday.
00:06I'm just saying, I'm off Friday.
00:08I got the hitch.
00:09The 9-hour, the 7-hour?
00:11I'm telling you, Fezzy, when you hit that ball flush, there's no feeling like it.
00:14You look like an athlete out there.
00:16I look like an athlete.
00:17I look like an athlete.
00:20Now my Achilles are sore.
00:22I'm not on any injury reports.
00:24Seth is.
00:24He's out tonight due to an illness.
00:26Hopefully we'll see him Friday against Denver.
00:28Jimmy Butler as well with the back injury.
00:29Never want to mess around with that.
00:31Missed the entire second half last night against Phoenix.
00:34And Draymond Green, right rib injury.
00:35He's also out.
00:36You want him well-rested to go against Nikola Jokic Friday.
00:39But they're all three missed this game.
00:41We know De'Anthony Melton is weeks away from being back, coming back from the torn left ACL.
00:46And then on the Kings side, no Keegan Murray.
00:48He hasn't played all season.
00:50And now some bonuses, Zach Levine.
00:51Zach Levine averaging over 27 points per game.
00:54So a lot of stars out tonight, Fezzy, Phil.
00:56But it's a great opportunity to grab a game before you head to Denver.
01:00I mean, before we even talk about that, Bonte, is the game that physical now that game eight, game seven, guys are out, rib, back?
01:11It's actually incredible to see all of this.
01:13But, you know, for the Warriors, this is a game where you can get back.
01:16You can get back on track.
01:17You have a lot of guys who are coming back in the lineup.
01:19But you can't take this lightly.
01:20We have learned so far in some of the games on the road last week that the Warriors need to come out with precision.
01:26Got to take care of the ball.
01:27Defensively, you got to be locked in.
01:28You got to come with force early on to don't let these teams get comfortable as we go back up to the Golden One Center for a little crossover with Bob Fitzgerald and Kalina Azubuki.
01:37Good evening, fellas.
01:38And look, we know no Steph, no Jimmy, no Draymond.
01:41But it was a good sign last night against Phoenix Fitz that the bench came in and did their job outscoring the Suns bench, 63-19, led by Moses Moody, as he led the charge with 24 points off the bench.
01:52Yeah, the bench now will be starting.
01:55Those guys are going to be in the starting lineup.
01:57But I like what Festus just said.
01:59In terms of turnovers, when you're playing younger guys, groups that haven't played together, you don't have a margin of error, Kay.
02:05You can't have a 22 turnover night.
02:08Those empty possessions, not getting enough shots up, you won't beat Sacramento.
02:13Not when they got DeRozan and Westbrook and other guys.
02:16Dennis Schroeder, they're not going to turn it over.
02:18If you do, that will be a recipe for disaster.
02:21And Sacramento is top ten in steel, so all the more reason.
02:24You have to make sure, mentally prepared, and take care of the ball.
02:27But I was just thinking, the Warriors have to be a really fun team to be on for guys like Pods, Moses Moody, Kaminga.
02:35Because you do have the Hall of Famers, where a lot of games, you can play off of them.
02:40You can ask them questions, sometimes defer to them.
02:43But there are these games where, okay, you know they're going to be out.
02:46And it's your turn to step forward and find a way to win games.
02:49And it's not surprising, because you're going to have some planned rest.
02:53Unfortunately, you have sickness and a back injury, and Draymond's banged up.
02:57But, yes, it's your chance.
02:59The question to you, Kay, is do you run it through Kaminga?
03:02Where do you run the offense through?
03:03It's got to be through Kaminga.
03:04It's kind of a community effort, right?
03:07But Kaminga, you can give it to him in the post.
03:09He can be a playmaker.
03:10But I'm thinking of a guy like Will Richard, who had a DNP last night, and now he's starting tonight.
03:17And, Festus, we've both been there in our careers where you're trying to make a name for yourself.
03:21Some nights you may not get to shoot up.
03:23Just give us the behind-the-scenes that we understand where you're trying to stay in shape, three-on-three in practice, whatever it takes, and the stay-ready thing.
03:32Everybody's like, stay ready, stay ready.
03:34It's not easy to do, Festus.
03:36You've got to give Will Richard a lot of credit, because he's coming to the games, and he's been ready himself.
03:42It says a lot about all the time that he spent in college.
03:44He was there for four years.
03:45He was a champion in college.
03:47And those things translate.
03:48So, he's been in the NBA, and I love his selflessness.
03:51He comes into the game, and he's looking for ways to get other guys involved.
03:54But it is hard.
03:55You're right, Buki.
03:56It's hard to stay ready in the game.
03:57But here's the thing about playing for Steve Kerr.
03:59He's going to play everybody on that roster.
04:01And he doesn't know when he's going to use all the guys, but at some point he's going to use everybody on that roster.
04:06So, it actually helps you to stay ready, because you're locked in, just not ready, always ready for the moment that you're going to be called.
04:12You saw Pat Spencer last game come into the game in the first half, and he closed the game out.
04:17So, Steve Kerr is always thinking of, how can I use the talent that I have all across the board in the different situations?
04:22Tonight is a perfect example of that.
04:24First NBA start, there's Russell Westbrook.
04:26There's Dennis Schroeder, two of the quick regards in the league.
04:29Should be fun to see Will Richard in that starting lineup.
04:31It should be fun to see the Warriors try to get back on track on the road.
04:34Fitz and Buki.
04:35Guys, have a good one up there at the G1C.
04:37All right, guys.
04:38We'll see you at halftime.
04:39And you think about, okay, no Steph Curry, no Jimmy Butler, no Draymond Green.
04:43This game counts the same.
04:45Out of the 82, this one won't count, just like playing OKC or the Lakers or the Celtics.
04:51And I think the Warriors have that mindset of, okay, yeah, the Hall of Famers aren't there.
04:55But that doesn't mean you just come up to Sacramento and drive home with an L.
04:59Opportunity knocks.
05:00We've always said that.
05:01Injuries or guys being out means opportunities for other guys.
05:05You embrace that if you're playing in this game.
05:07Whoever wants to come out and have a big game, it's your turn to do that.
05:11And that's what you're saying.
05:11There's no free swings this season.
05:13Like, every game you're in, you have to try to win, especially with those.
05:18I'm not going to talk about those two losses.
05:19Just get a win tonight.
05:21For the Warriors, they got a little practice last night with tandems that we'll play tonight.
05:26With our teamwork in action brought to you by Kaiser Permanente.
05:29You had Moody and Buddy Heald bombing away.
05:34You'll need that scoring tonight.
05:35This is what you need.
05:36Guys coming in the game with energy.
05:38You're sitting on the bench.
05:40You're scoping things out.
05:41Okay, this is what my team needs.
05:43Come in and bring that.
05:45Now, tonight, the mentality for these guys that are playing, a lot of them, is, okay, yeah,
05:49I can be a little more aggressive.
05:51But how do I do that and still stay within myself, stay within my game?
05:56How about the center productivity with Quentin Post and TJD?
05:59You get Al Horford back tonight, but I'll take that line right now.
06:03Well, Trace Jackson Davis just playing with force.
06:05Coming in games, you know they want to run pick and roll with you, throw lobs.
06:10The lob respect is there.
06:12But getting back, sprinting back, using all that athleticism to rebound, block shots,
06:16rim protect, just chain shots, be a presence out there.
06:19And then Quentin Post with his pick and pop.
06:21If he can make some threes tonight off of those pick and pops,
06:23really give Eubanks or whoever it is for them that's in the game a tough time,
06:27that would be huge.
06:28You know who's ready when the Warriors play the Kings?
06:31The fans.
06:32They play four times a year.
06:34They've had a play-in and stuff like that.
06:37But you've got veterans like DeMar DeRozan and Russell Westbrook.
06:40They're becoming part of this rivalry, all right?
06:43And so the Kings fans are like, bring on our Hall of Famer.
06:46Well, DeMar DeRozan, he's still shooting a lot of mid-range jumpers.
06:50He's still going to try to pump fake you out of your socks.
06:53How do you stay down with him?
06:54We're going to talk about that more during the game.
06:56And then Russell Westbrook, you may see him try to get back to OKC, Russell Westbrook.
07:00He came off a great game against Denver.
07:03Now he's going to be the guy that's facilitating.
07:05A lot of times he's handling the pace, trying to set the tempo for his team.
07:09So he's going to have something to do about this game.
07:11All right, so how do you have a rivalry?
07:13You play four times.
07:14You have a play-in game.
07:16You have a seven-game series.
07:18You have two fan bases that can travel and see each other.
07:21If you have two buildings, then pulsate when the opponent comes in.
07:25Kings and Warriors, the first of four.
07:28Boxing.
07:29Class-leading MPG and more hybrid models than any other brand.
07:40Toyota, let's go places.
07:44And by Jack in the Box, the mastermind behind the monster churn.
07:48The closer.
07:53Come about 100 miles from Chase Center to the Golden One Center with the Kings and Warriors
08:12meeting for the first time this year and very different lineups for both teams as you have
08:18Zach Levine and Damanis Savonis, Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler all banged up.
08:24But that means Will Richards is going to get his first NBA start.
08:29And the Warriors are going to start a lineup, Kalen Auzabuki, where no one has four years of experience in the league.
08:36The last time they started five guys with that few years of service, you've got to go back to 2012.
08:42Well, we said this type of thing might happen more than a few times this season.
08:47This is one of those first games.
08:49The Kings are sixth and steal, so taking care of the ball is going to be paramount.
08:54So, Quinton Post working with Richard Kaminga, Moody, and Pajemski.
08:58Shot clock at five.
09:00And Brandon rattling that out.
09:02Moody trying to keep it alive, but Neat Clifford comes up with a rebound.
09:06So, Dennis Schroeder, Neat Clifford, their number one pick.
09:08DeMar DeRozan, Russell Westbrook, and Drew Eubanks.
09:11And Westbrook unable to capitalize.
09:13We know Westbrook is going to be super aggressive coming off a really good game against Denver.
09:18Neat Clifford is kind of a secondary initiator.
09:20Really good body, solid wing, good two-way player, really smart player.
09:25Moody show and go, and Moses building on that game last night where he was just fantastic.
09:31Ended up with 24 against Phoenix, and you mentioned Westbrook.
09:34He had 26 against Denver.
09:36That one knocked away, and DeRozan carries on.
09:40And Sasha Schroeder last year as a warrior, finished with Detroit.
09:43He's still got some speed.
09:45How do you limit his penetration?
09:46As Russell Westbrook knocks down a three, he's looking to continue that great night against Denver.
09:52Coletta, how do they figure out who to play through?
09:57Because it's not Steph, it's not Jimmy, and it's not Draymond handling.
10:00Well, you do it together with this group.
10:02If you're not able to run, Coach wants him to run, first of all.
10:04Get in transition.
10:05If you're in the half court, call something as you get Kaminga knocking down his mid-range jumper.
10:11Call something that everybody understands.
10:12He may have to run a few more plays in this game.
10:15Schroeder, he threw the lob, but Quinton Post was ready for it.
10:21Like Draymond Green, he kind of stabbed at the drive, jumped backwards, break up the lob.
10:25Draymond's got to be proud.
10:27Quinton Post missing that three.
10:28He's good, it's up there.
10:30And Clifford, two years at Colorado State.
10:32He was the 24th pick.
10:33Don't buy the pump fake of DeMar DeRozan.
10:38That is the goal for tonight.
10:40Nice pass to you, Banks, to lay it up and in.
10:42So there, if you're Quinton Post, that may have been a little bit of an over-help situation
10:46where Kaminga kind of had him under control.
10:48He stayed down.
10:50Get back to your man.
10:52Will Richard catch and shoot.
10:53Dropping in the three.
10:55I love seeing Coach Kerr and him have a moment there before his first NBA start.
10:58Coach Kerr understands every single moment, every situation, as Pajemski got another one.
11:05An offensive foul on Schroeder.
11:06He draws charges all over the court.
11:09There's Doug Christie.
11:10The fact that he got a whole offseason with his team, he gets to start from training camp,
11:16really implementing and instilling all his concepts, his principles.
11:20That's huge because he gets a bond with your team.
11:22And this is a big game for the Kings.
11:24It begins a five-game homestand, but they're playing a bunch of head-knockers all in a row.
11:29He was saying last year, he was trying to fix the playing while it was in the air.
11:32As everybody leaves Kaminga, he makes them pay.
11:36Last season, he was trying to fix the playing while it's in the air.
11:38Now he's had a chance to fix the playing while it's landed.
11:42They're trying to get off to a better start.
11:43Two and five, they've struggled, but five of their seven games have been clutch minutes.
11:50Westbrook banging and bumping, setting up to Rosen.
11:52He won't normally settle for the three.
11:55He is the master of the mid-range and floats at home.
12:02No one knocked out of bounds, but the Kings touched it last.
12:06So, J.K.'s off to an amazing start.
12:09We know he's got the downhill attack, but if they're just going to leave him,
12:12Pajemski just occupies two guys, and somehow they just stay with him and left Kaminga wide open,
12:19and it looks like maybe the Kings are thinking we're going to give up the three ball
12:23and try to clog the paint up, make them beat us over the top.
12:30Pajemski hides behind that post screen.
12:33They flatten him out to the baseline, cycling around to Kaminga, rattling that out, and Westbrook the rebound.
12:41Schroeder was amazing for Germany, by the way, his Eurobasket.
12:45And he is just an irritant as an opponent, and so talented, and plays his best against the Warriors.
12:52That's one of his favorite moves, that little hesitation.
12:58Pajemski kicking it back out to QP.
13:02And Will Richard bottoms another one.
13:04See, that's the ball move that you're looking for, the threatening attack.
13:07First, Kaminga was unselfish, then Paz got in there.
13:10Drew, like, three guys, made them all react.
13:12You get the ball moving, they can't keep up with that.
13:14The 56 pick in the draft.
13:16Will Richard at 42% on threes, has already hit a couple triples.
13:22Rosen from the baseline again, and that was in the cylinder.
13:26Offensive basket interference, and take away that dunk.
13:29Look out below, though.
13:30Eubanks looks bouncy.
13:34Overdid it there, but really good defense on DeMar DeRozan.
13:41But at least you force a miss.
13:42You just got to make sure you crack someone.
13:44You got a running start that time, did Eubanks.
13:47This five-man group hasn't played it all together for the Warriors,
13:50and it's pretty impressive early as Kaminga lost that out of bounds.
13:56That's one of those where he's trying to change directions,
13:59going at Eubanks as he's backing up.
14:00You might want to get even lower so Eubanks can't get to that ball.
14:04So, he's trying to change the ball.
14:11Rosen, 25th all-time in scoring, Steph Curry's 24th.
14:16Schroeder missing the three, and you want him to live out there a little bit.
14:19One part of Dennis' game is only a 29% three-point shooter.
Stauff.

19:23He got back, blocked the shot.
19:25Музей, Де Розен's got Moody on him.
19:27He's got to get extra crafty to shake him.
19:32All these new groupings for Steve Kerr.
19:35And yet the Warriors are playing beautifully here in the first quarter.
19:39Moody to the mid-range.
19:40Couldn't get the angle there.
19:41Al Horford, yeah.
19:43Westbrook just grabbing his arm.
19:44And now grabbed the rebound with the other arm.
19:46Maxine Renaud was occupied with Moses Booth.
19:50Threatening.
19:50So you got Al Horford going in there to get the offensive rebound, this is clean, just keep working.
19:57If you're a Moses Moody, he timed it perfectly, we haven't seen a DeMar DeRozan pump fake package yet, so that's coming soon.
20:07Keep your timing right, and with the pump fakes, I always just say if you can watch the belly button area, the waist area when it comes to his movement, instead of watching the ball, you'll be better off.
20:17And Pajemski traveled, dragged that pivot foot, getting a little too active with those pivot moves.
20:25So Devin Carter in, getting his first playing time, and Buddy Heald, who had a bunch of years, six of them in Sacramento, getting his first playing time for the Dubs.
20:37Buddy was good last night, he'd been in a little bit of a slump after opening night.
20:41DeRozan got hit off the ball, he's laying on the court, Pajemski's got it, it's a five on four.
20:47And throw ahead to Richard, what a beginning!
20:50Well Richard is the first player in double figures.
20:54And Chrissy's trying to figure out what's going on.
20:56Warriors had numbers because DeMar DeRozan was on the ground.
20:58They're going to tend to DeRozan at midcourt.
21:01Hopefully he's okay.
21:02Kings take time, 421 remaining in the first.
21:07Nice beginning for the Dubs on the back end of a back-to-back building, the double-digit lead.
21:11Harden-Curray DeRozan took one in the chops here.
21:18He caught a loose Will Richard arm, and that is painful.
21:23Will Richard is like, are you okay?
21:25Well, I guess I have to keep playing.
21:26Let me sprint out here and get a dunk.
21:28Our great resort and casino winning.
21:31When you look at the 2009 draft, Harden, Curry, DeRozan, Drew Holiday, and Blake Griffin.
21:38My goodness.
21:39Wow.
21:40And, I mean, you got some Hall of Famers there.
21:43You have absolute elite talent.
21:45And the productivity.
21:46Steph is 24th.
21:48DeRozan 25th in scoring.
21:49But Harden, 2,000 more points than Steph even.
21:53It's pretty wild.
21:54Four or five of those guys are still playing at a high level.
21:57Buddy Heald stealing.
21:58And Keon Ellis saved a layup.
22:00So they're picking pockets early here, the Warriors are.
22:04They understood the assignment.
22:06Sacramento doesn't seem ready for it.
22:08So Pat Spencer's first playing time.
22:11With Kaminga, Guy Santos, Buddy Heald, and Al Horford.
22:15Malik Monk being back in the game.
22:16Expect him to handle some of the ball handling, too.
22:19Oh, Guy, good cut, but couldn't finish the layup there.
22:22And Al Horford breaks that up.
22:24Renaud kept it alive.
22:30Malik Monk, you do not want to get him going.
22:32He's missed the last two games for personal reasons.
22:35And he hits his first shot.
22:36And that can be scary.
22:38He is a microwave in terms of the sixth man coming off the bench.
22:42And he sees the way the game is going.
22:43So he's looking to get to it.
22:45Waste no time.
22:49Buddy Heald tracks that down.
22:51And Keyon Ellis really is a good defender.
22:54Buddy got around him to flip it up and in with a left.
22:56So Buddy Heald did the right thing.
22:58Used all the pressure against him as Buddy Heald gets a little too active there.
23:02He overdid it.
23:02He's trying to bring his own pressure.
23:04But Keyon Ellis is all over.
23:06And sometimes instead of, like, just being tentative and looking for someone to pass it to, drive it by him.
23:11Like, you got a little bit of a ghost screen there, but turn the corner if you can.
23:16He had a nice moment.
23:17Steph Curry on his sofa at home put up his left hand to honor Buddy's lefty finish there.
23:22You know Steph is watching.
23:24We hope he's feeling better.
23:25Yeah, I feel better, brother.
23:26Maxime Renaud to follow.
23:29For the rookie from Stanford on the board.
23:31And now Horford will be tagged with a moving screen.
23:38That's great acting.
23:40He kind of embellished there.
23:41Renaud is known for his shooting, even though he only shot 34% for three-point range at Stanford in his last season.
23:49You can say Horford was moving.
23:52Like, they feel like he can be a stretch big, attack some long closeouts.
23:56Pretty good back to the basket game.
23:57Really good passer, though.
23:59And you can see over the top of defenses with that size.
24:02A little bit of concern when it comes to his athleticism, but I think he'll be okay there.
24:07Lake Bunk trying to get it to Renaud.
24:09Quintin Post was there.
24:11And Quintin Post was there a second time.
24:13And he'll have the foul after he had thought he had the stop and the rebound.
24:17They're looking to take advantage of their opportunities, too.
24:22Renaud having an opportunity to play in this game without Sabonis.
24:26Trying to go up strong.
24:28Looked like Post might have been above top.
24:29This is actually a really good matchup for Quintin Post.
24:33A guy that's maybe a little similar to him and some of the things he's able to do.
24:39Who can win this battle?
24:40Who wins that matchup?
24:41I just have enjoyed the last couple years in the NBA where deeper second-round picks
24:46end up flourishing.
24:48Renaud was the 42nd pick.
24:51We talked about Quintin Post being the 52nd pick, Will Richard being the 56th pick,
24:56Trace Jackson-Davis being the 57th pick.
24:58But it's games like this where you're able to make a name for yourself and earn your coach's trust.
25:03Both of these teams are going, we need to win.
25:06The Kings have their sense of urgency through the roof being 2-5.
25:10And the 10-point lead's been cut in half.
25:14Buddy healed for three.
25:16Buddy, Buddy, dropping it in.
25:18And Quintin Post said a bone-crushing screen.
25:23Oh, Leek Bogg.
25:24That's painful.
25:25And he is behind the play and grimacing a little bit as he gets up.
25:30Buddy nearly lost it on the baseline.
25:32Quintin Post saved the turnover.
25:362-20 remaining in the first.
25:38Interesting, all the different combinations and subs.
25:42Gominga.
25:43J.K.
25:44He's in double figures already with 11.
25:47He just took his beat, pretty much walked to a spot.
25:50Had two defenders there.
25:51But the fact that he faded away, he got so much elevation, he's able to get off a comfortable shot.
25:55The Warriors shooting 61%.
25:57Sacramento 57%.
26:00Clifford missing there.
26:01And out of bounds to the dubs.
26:03You're okay with this start for the Warriors.
26:05And Coach Kerr said he wants them to play as fast as possible.
26:08When you get in the half court, you need to make sure you take your time.
26:12And Quintin Post is doing that.
26:14Just kind of walk into a spot.
26:17You know you have the ability to jump over pretty much anyone you please.
26:21And that includes when it comes to your jump shot.
26:28Gominga's been hot.
26:29Five of six shootings.
26:32Matt Spencer surveying.
26:34Shot clock at seven.
26:35The cutting Buddy Heald to lay it up and in.
26:37The Kings are 27th in defensive efficiency.
26:41And they will lose sight of their men.
26:43And that's what happened there.
26:44If you move without the ball, you can catch them sleeping.
26:46Buddy Heald understands this.
26:48So Buddy Heald seven quick off the bench.
26:53The Warriors maintain the double-digit advantage.
26:55And that's just pretty basketball right there.
27:00The Warriors lead by 12.
27:03But Kay, it's not the scorers.
27:05Pajemski has no points.
27:07But he has four assists.
27:08And he's run the team.
27:09And Pat Spencer has run the team.
27:11This is important.
27:12How do you impact winning?
27:13What do you bring in defensively?
27:14The intensity.
27:15Now look at the Warriors in a zone.
27:17Precious Achua was just signed today.
27:20Rolling down the lane.
27:21And Al Horford.
27:22Nice steal.
27:23And they got the ball in the middle.
27:24But everybody else is able to stay home, including Al Horford on that baseline.
27:28Domingo on the repost.
27:33Going to work on Carter, but he traveled.
27:36He tried that drop step, quick turnaround.
27:40He's got to get the footwork right.
27:42The pivot game there wasn't all the way right.
27:47Yeah, you just got to make sure.
27:49Watch that left leg kind of come up.
27:52Keep that pivot foot down.
27:54So Schroeder back in with Achua and Eubanks.
27:57They're going big here.
27:59Double bigs on the Warriors.
28:01They have Post and Al Horford out there.
28:02Bring it.
28:03And they're staying in that zone.
28:05Devin Carter off iron.
28:06Can you rebound out of the zone?
28:08And the ricochet back to Schroeder.
28:12Schroeder to Achua to lay it up and in.
28:15They just got Achua, like we're saying.
28:16They're saying all hands on deck.
28:19Can you help us out?
28:20Achua's going, I can't.
28:22So Steve Kerr going to take a timeout.
28:24He wants guys on the glass.
28:27Particularly in the zone, you got to rebound.
28:29And the Warrior lead at 10.
28:32You can take the Warriors on the go and stream the games on the NBC Sports app.
28:37Brought to you by Toyota.
28:39You need your Kalena all day, every way.
28:41Get there.
28:42People have been streaming everything.
28:43The NBA app has all the different games, all the different broadcasts.
28:48We've got the Toyota streaming app.
28:49This is just great.
28:50That's how it is nowadays.
28:53Got a two-for-one situation now.
28:56Draymond, you know he's always engaged, always coaching.
28:59You want him to feel better with Denver looming on Friday.
29:02Well, Richard and Kaminga handling most of the scoring.
29:07Wolford missing from the baseline.
29:09About a three-second game shot clock difference.
29:14Schroeder is a tough cover for Kaminga.
29:17So quick, so crafty.
29:20Can't reach on him.
29:21Devin Carter breaking the paint.
29:24Shot clock down to five.
29:26Neek Clifford will launch and bury that three.
29:30They made that health recovery tough there.
29:33That Spencer playing beat the clock.
29:34Horford's got a good look.
29:36And that will do it for the first quarter.
29:38So all things considered, the Warriors shoot it at 57%.
29:43They get 12 from Will Richard in its first NBA start.
29:4711 from Kaminga.
29:49I don't think the Warriors want more cowbell, to be honest.
29:52But they do like the lead after the first 12 minutes.
29:55Back end of a back-to-back.
29:57And trying to get the win here in Sacramento.
30:00Beginning this second, Boba Kalena with you in Sacramento
30:03with a Warrior lead at seven.
30:06Arkea player profile.
30:07Now, Quinton Post had four more threes last night.
30:11And you think of his rookie year.
30:13He only played in 42 games, 73 threes.
30:16Anytime you're on a graphic with Steph and Klay,
30:19in terms of threes made as a rookie,
30:21and 40% a year ago, guess what he's shooting on threes this year?
30:25He's up there.
30:2540% again.
30:27Back at it, yeah.
30:28And shooter.
30:30And the way he answered my question about his pick and pop,
30:33when I'm making it, it's a good play.
30:34As Eubanks tries to drive in there or gets the pocket pass in there.
30:39He's met by Trace Jackson Davis.
30:42And Guy Santos will pick up the foul.
30:43Trace did have the block.
30:45And through Eubanks to the line.
30:47But when you think about Quinton Post's game,
30:50everybody understands he's a three-point shooter.
30:52He has that respect now.
30:54Now the rest of his game will start to open up even more,
30:57where you go show and goes.
30:59You can drive to the basket.
31:00You can make plays off of that after you've shown the ball
31:04and driven past someone.
31:06Give Eubanks a lot of credit.
31:08Undrafted out of Oregon State.
31:09But this is eight years now in the league.
31:12And he's a serviceable player,
31:14and you'd be happy to have him on your team.
31:16Absolutely.
31:17Just a great energy big, very skilled.
31:19He's at peace with his game, knows his job.
31:22Moses Moody, launching in another three.
31:25Moses Moody's jumper looks really good.
31:28He said he actually changed just one small little thing
31:32to add some pop to it.
31:33Whatever he did, it's a great change.
31:35Trace and Gapshroeder.
31:36But the Warriors can't get the rebound.
31:38That's become the issue here.
31:39They're not rebounding in this first half.
31:42Moody took it away from Schroeder there.
31:48DJD with Pajemski open corner three.
31:52Beautiful.
31:53Good patience by Trace.
31:54And the reason that was open,
31:56Gi-Santo's cut.
31:57Took that last defender out of there.
31:59Now you can swing it.
32:01Want to go back to Moody's defense on that last play.
32:05Just got a flu in there.
32:07Just a shock shooter on the drive.
32:10Link Monk had hit his first, but Trace contesting.
32:13Oh, yeah.
32:13Your defense is top-notch right now.
32:15They're having to take and settle for contested shots.
32:18G-Santo's moving without the ball.
32:20Run first, see which again,
32:22then back it out if you don't.
32:25Pajemski floater.
32:26Tipped up and in.
32:27Are you sure Will Richard has been in the league for five years?
32:32Jeez.
32:33He's got this incredible.
32:34He's got an old soul.
32:36Flory's just moving at a different speed right now.
32:38Playing with a lot of intensity, more aggressive on both sides.
32:40And Eubanks able to finish with the right.
32:43See how he kept that ball high?
32:45That is fundamentally sound.
32:49You don't have Jimmy Butler.
32:50You don't have Steph Curry.
32:51You're missing 50 points.
32:54And yet here are the dubs shooting 60%.
32:56Moses off iron there.
32:58Orchua with the rebound.
32:59They're doing it together.
33:00They're keeping their movement up.
33:02They're giving the Kings some problems.
33:05Shooter on that penetration.
33:07Probing and now gets Trace on a switch.
33:10Shot clock at 10.
33:13Shooter trying to get to that mid-range.
33:15And then the pump fake.
33:17Everything right until leaving your feet just for a second.
33:20I would have thought maybe the first pump fake would have came from DeMar DeRozan.
33:24But Shooter is saying, I can do that too.
33:27It's just a tough matchup for Trace Jackson Davis.
33:32Ending up switched on him.
33:33And the Warriors were trying to show help.
33:36You had Pajemski come over and hang out on the strong side block that he left.
33:41But Shooter just kind of waited.
33:43A veteran savvy.
33:44So think of the Eurobasket championship.
33:47And Giannis was amazing.
33:49Luka was amazing.
33:50Jokic is amazing.
33:52The MVP though?
33:53Yep.
33:53Dennis Schroeder for Germany.
33:56He becomes a superhero when he plays for Germany.
34:01And he's been all around the league.
34:02And he's picked up a lot from every spot he's been in.
34:05Including with the Warriors.
34:07And he helped Detroit in the playoffs last year too.
34:09Good.
34:09Ten-point lead in the ball.
34:14Two minutes in this second quarter.
34:18Moses Moody attacking and rewarding Trace.
34:20But he wouldn't stay down.
34:22He dunked it and popped out.
34:24He's got to go all the way through the net to be counted as a basket.
34:26And Schroeder pushed off there.
34:30I like that they didn't call a defensive foul.
34:32If anything it would have been an offensive foul.
34:35Anything.
34:36Another lob.
34:37That's just a great catch.
34:39And Will Richard three.
34:40Pajemski bats it back out.
34:42Moody with a look for triple.
34:48Warriors can do the offensive rebounding thing too.
34:50Just keep it alive.
34:51Hey, these young guys are playing with great energy right now.
34:54And it's such a great time to shoot threes after you get the offensive rebound.
34:57But Leighton Muck knocks down a three.
34:59The defense is still down there.
35:02Bad position after they've missed the rebound.
35:05Warriors are playing with good tempo.
35:07Kings are shooting it well at 50% in their own right.
35:10DeSantos missing that three.
35:12Trace couldn't quite get it.
35:13Got it off the backboard.
35:14And here comes Muck again.
35:16He'll score in bunches.
35:20Don't jump at Westbrook from the three-point line, young man.
35:23Richard knew better.
35:24Trace trying to take it away, and he does.
35:29I'm going to give that to Guy Santos because he stabbed at Russell Westbrook
35:33and got to the better shooter.
35:34Oh, Moody, he was running back.
35:36It felt good coming off his hand.
35:40Sitting there with a ten-point lead.
35:42Westbrook, nice attack.
35:43Setting up the Eubanks dunk.
35:49I don't think either coach finds the tempo up and down.
35:51They're good.
35:52They both want to play fast.
35:53Got some young legs in there.
35:56There you go.
35:57Steve Kerr will take a timeout.
35:59Different combos.
36:00Bunch of youngsters.
36:02No Jimmy, no Steph, no Draymond.
36:05Right now, the Warriors up eight.
36:08The Lexus drive to greatness.
36:11The first win in Steve Kerr's coaching career.
36:15It came here in Sacramento.
36:18Steph Curry and the Dubs beating the Kings.
36:20It also was the night the Giants upended the Royals for the World Series title.
36:25There's a lot going on in the sports world, but that was when Judd Bushler there saying hi.
36:30All Steve's friends were here and family.
36:33His first NBA coaching win.
36:34I don't know what happened to Steve's coaching career after that.
36:38Oh, it's been pretty fantastic as one of the best all-time.
36:43It's the Warrior franchise best.
36:45Surpassing Al Adels.
36:47That's back when the coaching staff used to wear a suit and tie.
36:50You know, if we could get out of broadcasters wearing a coat and tie.
36:54Come on now.
36:55Wait a minute.
36:57Kaminga, tough shot, but Renault fouled him.
37:00They gave him a little ball screen.
37:01The screener slipped out of it, but that meant Kaminga's defender opened up.
37:07You like that action.
37:08And I think one of the reasons Coach Kerr has been so successful is his communication skills.
37:13Making sure everybody on the team understands their role, what is expected of them, and then touching on staying ready.
37:23Coach Kerr communicating to all the young guys, this is the kind of year it's going to be.
37:27You may play some games.
37:29You may get DNPs.
37:30But when I call your number, you need to go out there and perform.
37:33The Warrior shop item of the game, the statement edition vibe with the Jordan brand essential tee with the authentic W logo at shop.warriors.com.
37:43Kaminga, one or two free throws, and look at Monk running back.
37:47That's what Doug Christie wants, the throw-aheads, kick-aheads.
37:50Got to get back.
37:51They want to get layups, any easy buckets as possible.
37:55That's Spencer Edmerow on a switch.
37:58They want to port for non-schroeder, and Westbrook came to double and just whacked him.
38:03So they double-teamed Al Horford just to get active defensively, bring their intensity up.
38:09He had Kaminga cutting inside, so it's probably good for them that they fouled it,
38:13or Kaminga would have been doing pull-ups on the rim.
38:16But Warriors are okay with that.
38:18I think Al Horford's okay with that.
38:19He's a great passer.
38:20And the foul will go on Schroeder, and that's his third foul.
38:24That's big.
38:25That's another ball handler out of the game.
38:26And you've already forced over eight turnovers at this point.
38:31Nine turnovers, seven points off those nine Sacramento miscues.
38:35This is a team that's fourth in turnover, for example.
38:37Fourth best.
38:38Shot clock at three.
38:39Kaminga's got to make something out of nothing.
38:41The elbow jumper off iron, and Renaud will track it down.
38:44Cliford had hit a three from there.
38:53Malik Muck with Spencer flying at him.
38:55That's a good contest.
38:57Pat did that great.
38:59Well, even when the Warriors kind of are beat or make a mistake, they scramble.
39:05Kaminga, nice drop-off.
39:06And there is the passing of Kaminga we've seen from training camp on.
39:10And that playmaking is elite.
39:12To see the defense and make the read off a spin move, that's wild.
39:17Will Richard.
39:18And Westbrook tried to cram it down.
39:20Kaminga met him up top, but you're going to have a goaltend.
39:23J.K. hit the rim and have the backboard and rim shaking.
39:29I love what Russell Westbrook and his facial expressions.
39:32Watch this.
39:33Off of this spin move, there's a little hesitation spin move.
39:36But you're able to see the cutter because you got your head up.
39:39You don't have to watch the ball.
39:40Here's the goaltend.
39:42Yeah, he grabbed the rim.
39:43It affected the ball.
39:44Yep, Josh Tibber was right on it.
39:46Because you can grab the rim.
39:47If it doesn't affect the ball, it's fine.
39:49If it affects the ball.
39:50Correct.
39:50That's a very important distinction.
39:52He had that with Draymond hit the rim in OKC.
39:55Pat Spencer floating at home.
39:58So Pat Spencer says his game feels better than it's ever felt.
40:01And he played so well last night.
40:03Hit the biggest shot of the game.
40:04He did.
40:05Suns were making a push.
40:06Spencer hit a big three to make a nine-point game.
40:08A 12-point game as Renault was fouled.
40:11And speaking of push, you love his pace and his push.
40:13The way he gets the ball, obviously, a lot of guys,
40:16pretty much anyone in the game right now who gets the ball can push it.
40:20But Pat Spencer just kind of glides and flies.
40:23And he's always going to get into the paint.
40:25He's a playmaker.
40:26He can kick it out, read the defense.
40:28Pat Spencer's like, did you play pickup at PG County?
40:30Exactly.
40:31Because I did.
40:31I've been places you've never been.
40:33You can only dream of.
40:39Leek Monk gets Horford on a switch.
40:42Tucks it like a running back and lays it up and in.
40:44That's kind of that door top screen.
40:46They use that big, even if they don't realize what's happening,
40:49they use their back.
40:51They went through the second quarter.
40:52But Renault, you, he was kind of screed it.
40:56Warner leads, but as high as 13.
40:58He's sitting at seven right now.
41:00Kaminka on the face-up.
41:01Working on Clifford, the rookie, and he will get to the line again.
41:04And hopefully he's okay.
41:05You love how aggressive he was there.
41:08He's got a rookie on him.
41:09Clifford can't handle this.
41:12Go at his life.
41:14Kaminka's like, I'm 23, but it's your first year in the league.
41:18I love that they clear it out for him.
41:19You've got a little mix of everything, the entire repertoire.
41:23We've seen the movement.
41:24We've seen cutting.
41:25We've seen ISO game.
41:27A couple free throws for J.K., courtesy of Jack in the Box.
41:33My monster munchies.
41:34Monster-sized flavor at the fun-sized price of three bucks each.
41:38Welcome to Jack in the Box.
41:39Let me ask you, Kalena, the clear side face-up versus when they posted him back to the basket,
41:46which is more threatening for Kaminka?
41:48Because I figure if he faces a guy up, he almost gets by him more often.
41:52I like his face-up.
41:53It's just kind of feeling it out.
41:55Sometimes if you have a guy that you really feel like you're quicker than he's kind of maybe your same height,
42:00you face up and use your quickness.
42:02If there's a guy that's smaller, kind of back it down.
42:05Why'd you look at me when you said smaller?
42:06That's what, if you were a guard to me, that's what I would do with you.
42:09I would foul you immediately.
42:10Yeah, I heard you're a great hacker.
42:13Hey, I'll give him the foul.
42:14There's no doubt.
42:15No misses the three.
42:16I love it.
42:17You want to foul on three?
42:18I'm your man.
42:19Pat Spencer couldn't get that with the left.
42:22And here comes Malik Monk the other way.
42:26Westbrook always in attack mode.
42:28Westbrook made him peel off.
42:30Now you have to be ready to help.
42:32Westbrook launched into three.
42:34He's been shooting it well.
42:3539% from there.
42:37The book got rust the last couple of years.
42:39He's dared him to launch the jumper, but Russell Westbrook's got seven tonight.
42:44Can he stay there all season?
42:46That percentage is a question.
42:48Dominguez bottled up on the baseline.
42:50Shot clock down to seven.
42:52GP two.
42:53His first three of the year.
42:56Gary drops in a triple.
42:57No hesitation.
42:59He couldn't wait to play.
43:01We had him mic'd up last night.
43:02Still brought the goodbyes, but he was ready for his moment.
43:05Monk had it knocked away.
43:07Kaminga will high rise.
43:10They are forcing turnovers.
43:13Super active.
43:15The Kings are going, how are we going to match this Warriors squad's intensity?
43:19I think the Kings are like, when did the Warriors get young?
43:23Look at this energy.
43:25Defense, quick hands and length.
43:28Will Richards got 16.
43:30But you've got the veterans, like GP two of the three.
43:35And Jonathan Kaminga on the open floor.
43:38Good luck stopping him.
43:39The state's capital.
43:43And, you know, Kalena, they had an Xfinity meeting.
43:46And someone said, let's keep our price the same for two years.
43:49They fired that person.
43:50They said, five years.
43:52We're going to have fast, reliable Wi-Fi at one price for five years and not raise it.
43:56Get that other person out of the meeting.
43:58Thanks for that back story there.
43:59I didn't realize that.
44:00I don't think people knew that in the marketing department.
44:02Two years?
44:03Get out of here.
44:04Five years.
44:05It's not enough.
44:06It's not enough.
44:06Warriors are playing with all kinds of intensity.
44:09Look at them blitzing Russell Westbrook right here.
44:11And they knocked it away.
44:12But it will be off the dubs.
44:15Blinds.
44:16Look at Russell Westbrook.
44:16He's like, you guys got to yell or tell me something's happening.
44:20They had no clue they were coming.
44:21GP two was begging for the replay.
44:24Yeah.
44:24He wanted to review.
44:26The coaches review.
44:29The Warriors are like, we're not going to waste a timeout.
44:31You're going to get a stop anyway.
44:33Look at Pat Spencer can test DeRozan's surefire mid-range game.
44:37Pat Spencer and Westbrook.
44:39And it's Pat Spencer getting the offensive foul.
44:42Listen, if you have young legs, might as well use it.
44:44Warriors are running the floor.
44:46They have fast break points.
44:4811 of those.
44:50You're forcing turnovers.
44:5110 of those.
44:53Can you throw your foot out like that?
44:55Got a little physical.
44:56It's okay.
44:58Warriors are built for it.
44:59GP two.
45:01He's in to kind of slow down Westbrook a little bit
45:04and then deal with DeRozan if he has to.
45:09Warriors are guarding in the jerseys here.
45:12Shot clock down at four.
45:15Neat Clifford spaces out and bottoms at three.
45:18They don't shoot him often.
45:19They're 30th in attempts on the season right now.
45:23Clifford's two of three from D.
45:24But they're top half of the league when it comes to their percentage.
45:27That's Spencer down the lane, and he'll dunk it down.
45:31A little double pump.
45:32He just rejected the screen.
45:34The help is on the wrong side.
45:35Clear lane.
45:37Pat Spencer's going to use it.
45:38Way back.
45:39I'm an elite lacrosse player, a great golfer, and I can dunk.
45:41He can do it all.
45:44Westbrook.
45:45He missed everything there.
45:47Could make it with the rebound in motion.
45:48They're getting that ten-point lead.
45:53Trying to go up under arms, and J.K. turns it over.
45:59And DeRozan, he will get to the line.
46:02That's a tough sequence.
46:04Potential five-point swing there.
46:06DeRozan trying to get a foul, didn't get it,
46:08and three-point play the other way.
46:10Buddy Heald just had a really bad angle.
46:14Wasn't going to be able to draw that charge.
46:17This is what they want to do.
46:20Run the floor, get as many layups as possible, easier buckets.
46:23Get DeMar DeRozan to the free throw line.
46:26You see where Buddy Heald had to come from.
46:29He tried to get there, but the angle wasn't right.
46:32Toronto, the Spurs here in Sacramento.
46:34DeMar DeRozan is a pro's pro.
46:36Classy guy, great player, ninth pick overall in the Steph draft, 2009.
46:43Six-time All-Star, three-time All-NBA.
46:46I just have so much respect for a guy that just stuck to his game.
46:50Yes.
46:51You have a mid-range guy.
46:52I know everybody wants to shoot the threes.
46:53He did shoot a lot more last season than he used to,
46:56but he's going to shoot that mid-range.
47:00Horford facing up on Eubanks.
47:03And now Horford from the baseline to Rosen with the rebound.
47:06Kings trying to make a push before halftime.
47:11And DeRozan, speaking of the mid-range,
47:12but missing there, Kaminga on the defensive glass.
47:16His third rebound tonight.
47:18Make sure you pursue the ball always.
47:21Look at the floor game for Prozemski.
47:23Six assists, six rebounds.
47:26Kind of running things with no Steph tonight.
47:27Shot clock at seven.
47:31Moody's got to go on Westbrook.
47:34And that ball was kicked.
47:36Recycled that to 14, and the Warriors maintain possession.
47:39Remember, Coach Kerr is always big on closing quarters, closing halves.
47:44Who could close strong the final 2-19 here?
47:47Tried to cross Westbrook over.
47:48His foot was in the way Westbrook would say.
47:51And that's a veteran thing to close quarters,
47:53which is why DeRozan and Westbrook are trying to push right now
47:57in the final 2 minutes here.
47:59Warriors have got the best of them in this half.
48:01If they can finish strong,
48:03have some momentum as Moodymski gets the floater game going.
48:07So Pods, five points.
48:09Six and six.
48:10A little bumper car move.
48:11Just keep you defending on your back.
48:12Westbrook, get a nice move, but couldn't finish there.
48:15All the way down, Gary!
48:17No.
48:18Oh.
48:19The one-handed pass.
48:21And GP2 turns it over, and Westbrook gets a three.
48:25That is...
48:26That had Steve Kerr with his head in his hands there.
48:28I saw that.
48:29He made Coach Kerr turn around.
48:31That's just a pass that should have been thrown, period.
48:35Think about that.
48:36You're doing so well.
48:37Moving the ball, scoring at will.
48:39Built a 13-point lead at one point, but it's at six right now.
48:42Moody, look at the patience to pump fake.
48:48That's one way to negate the shot blocking ability.
48:50Pump fake, let him jump through the roof.
48:53Leapers like to lead.
48:54That's it.
48:56GP2 knocked it away initially.
48:58Loose on the deck.
49:00Gary to Kaminga to lay it up and out.
49:03That would have been the prettiest play of the night.
49:09Kaminga trying to knock it away.
49:11Eubanks, what a great catch.
49:14Eubanks has really nice touch at the side.
49:16And great hands to catch that one.
49:19And this Kaminga finger roll and the layup the other way.
49:23GP2 is trying to get that turnover back.
49:25He did a great job forcing that turnover, but he couldn't finish.
49:28Capitalized.
49:29He can go two for one here.
49:32Shot clock at eight.
49:34And Kaminga, he caught.
49:36Keon Al is reaching in.
49:37He finally got that call.
49:39Coming up under arms.
49:41He tried before on the Murray.
49:43This time he's stationary.
49:45You saw he kind of had his back to him there, like I was saying.
49:47Smaller defender, even though it's further out.
49:49No, he's actually faced up a little bit there.
49:51And, yeah, he came up under the arm.
49:53But, yeah, he's the option.
49:58When all else fails, you know, you get to Kaminga, he's going to get a comfortable shot, make or miss.
50:04So, J.K. was 17.
50:06Will Richard 16, Moody with 10.
50:09And you've got Westbrook 13, Eubanks 10, and Malik Monk 10 off the bench for Sacramento.
50:15You know, the Kings are going to try to go two for one.
50:17Can you get two stops here to end this half?
50:20Well played half for the Warriors, all things considered.
50:28Kaminga, one of two from the line again.
50:32Sitting at seven.
50:38Moody reaching in.
50:40That's free throws.
50:40And that will be the fifth team foul.
50:45They are in the bonus.
50:50So, Malik Monk at the line, courtesy of Grayton Resort and Casino.

51:11The league month, the one-year Kentucky, the 11th pick in 2017 by Charlotte.
51:18Second two years ago for sixth man of the year.
51:20Well, his big thing, he was saying this offseason, was focusing on catch and shoot.
51:24You know what?
51:24When Zach Levine is healthy, DeMar DeRozan are in there.
51:28They're going to have the ball a lot.
51:29They're going to create.
51:30He's going to have a lot of opportunities to catch and shoot.
51:32But you know he can score.
51:33He's acting like he's never missed any games.
51:35He's coming in, not missing a beat.
51:38He's already got 12 points now.
51:4012 after hitting the free throws.
51:43This is an important trip down.
51:45Your lead has been trimmed to five here.
51:47You've got a couple sequences that were really rugged where you didn't score
51:51and they got a layup or a free throw.
51:53Will Richard missing that three.
51:56And the Kings will have the final possession.
51:57Well, DeRozan, he knows he wants the momentum heading into halftime,
52:07spinning in the lane, and couldn't get it over iron.
52:10And the Warriors catch a break.
52:13Wow.
52:14You'll take the lead at halftime.
52:16You feel like it should have been more.
52:18But, all things considered, excellent performance by the Dubs and the Kings.
52:23Both shooting better than 50% in the game.
52:26You found a way to win the half.
52:28You're good with that.
52:30A lot of great things you did.
52:33And Will Richard was incredibly nervous in his first NBA start.
52:36Will, you really looked out of sorts.
52:38You only ended up with 16 on five of eight shooting.
52:41Come on.
52:42That's right.
52:44What did Steve say to you on the bench before you came in?
52:47Oh, I'm just telling you to go out there and have fun,
52:49keep playing the right way, play simple, and just impact the game.
52:52Talk to me about the intensity you guys brought defensively.
52:55You guys were forced to turn.
52:56This is a team that usually takes care of the ball.
52:58Understanding they're downed ball handlers,
53:00what were the discussions like before the game when it comes to your defensive intensity?
53:03Oh, yeah, for sure.
53:03I mean, we knew we were a man down tonight,
53:05so we knew we had to come out with a lot of energy
53:07and make those hustle plays and start it on the defensive end.
53:09It's a back-to-back, but you are well-rested and bouncy.
53:12You've got to feel good.
53:13Yes, sir.
53:13I'm feeling good for sure.
53:14We appreciate you stopping, Will.
53:16Thanks.
53:16That is the rookie, Will Richard, with 16 in his first NBA start.
53:22The Dubs have the lead at the break, up five.
53:25Bonte and Festus in the studio for Warrior Halftime Live,
53:28brought to you by Jack in the Box, coming up next.
53:30You have to be so impressed with their energy and their effort
53:40and the way that they played,
53:42but you really look at it, they were up 11.
53:45Turnovers were going to be the problem.
53:4713-7 run by the Kings.
53:48They're not going away.
53:49I love the word shot selection, but you mentioned it.
53:52Timely turnover.
53:53The seven turnovers doesn't sound like a lot.
53:55But 13 points off of them.
53:56Exactly.
53:57In a game like this, it could be a close game.
53:59You don't want it to be a clutch game.
54:00You want the Warriors to be up more than five, but it could happen.
54:03For the other side, though,
54:04you've got to be ready for ball screens with Malik Monk,
54:07Russell Westbrook trying to attack some handouts.
54:10They're going to get super active and creative offensively.
54:13Defensively, you've been so good at the point of attack.
54:16Be ready for that.
54:17Make sure you just keep penetration at a minimum if you can,
54:21using some space to move your feet.
54:23So without Steph and Jimmy, you're down essentially 50 points.
54:27But look at the guys that step forward in terms of scoring,
54:30exactly who you would want in the Bukis big-time bifocals,
54:34brought to you by your Bay Area Chevy dealers.
54:37Will Richard along with Kaminga and Moody.
54:39How about that?
54:40And his first start.
54:41Watch him just back out of here.
54:42Keep your spacing right.
54:44You're going to see the floor here if you're Bojemski.
54:47Understanding where your outlet is.
54:48After the drive, you know you're going to force Eubanks to come over,
54:52get the ball moving, and then Will Richard, because he backed out,
54:55made sure the spacing was right.
54:58He's the one that gets to be the beneficiary there.
55:00You get this screen.
55:01Eubanks, expose him if you can.
55:04You're going to get into his body.
55:05He kind of stepped through here after you got into his body.
55:09This is the patience you need attacking downhill like this.
55:12And this is what Kaminga can do.
55:13He's so explosive.
55:14He doesn't have to go 100 miles an hour all the time.
55:18Give it up.
55:18You're going to get it back.
55:19Look at the defense.
55:20Just keep moving this way.
55:21After you've kind of gotten rid of the ball, you keep moving it.
55:26Change sides of the floor.
55:27Really make this defense work.
55:28If they're in a zone, you can shoot them out of it this way.
55:31You don't want to just force it as soon as you cross half court.
55:35Move the ball.
55:36Make them work.
55:36You'll get open shots.
55:37How about Will Richard?
55:38Five of eight.
55:39Yeah, he hit a couple threes, but the cutting without the ball, fantastic.
55:43Particularly for a rookie.
55:44Oh, that's what you need from him.
55:46Everybody.
