00:00Brussels Zavon Tham Airport is still feeling the aftershock of Tuesday's drone sightings which
00:09forced the city's main airport to close and left dozens of flights grounded. The country's
00:16defence minister told local media that the incident appeared to be carried out by professionals
00:21intent on destabilising the country. All departing and arriving flights were temporarily suspended,
00:28forcing hundreds of passengers to spend the night at the airport.
00:32It's very difficult for us to manage all of this, but we do our best. All our staff are here.
00:38We also have volunteers who are coming from the bureaus to distribute bottles of water,
00:43little snacks, to do everything we can to calm the situation.
00:49Lige Airport, used principally as a cargo hub, was also closed due to drone sightings on Tuesday.
00:56Both airports have now reopened, but officials have warned that disruptions are expected to continue
01:03and that passengers should be prepared for delays. Both NATO and the European Union have been on
01:09high alert recently following a string of airspace violations thought to be carried out by Russia.
